We have kept your gas connection close instead of that bill amt is coming high and also i have inform u that your connection will remain close from 26/02/2019 to may 2019. So please see in this matter

    Bcompany has promised that gas connection will be provided within six months but after lapse of one year no action has been taken till date. If company not able to provide gas connections then the amount paid to be returned with interest without any further delay. Kindly do the needful email of gas company is [protected]@mahanagargas.com and phone number are [protected] & [protected] no. [protected] gas connection not installed though the amount rs 6635/- paid in the month of dec-2017. Docket no. 4136269/19.12.2017 pending no response till date..     I had applied for a pipe gasline in 2012. But no-one turned up. I called many times throughout the years but yet the pipe gasline set up is not being set. The customer care services are also not doing anything towards it.

      Bill group : mc010807 bp: [protected]. Meter no. 40016099. I was demanded a bill of rs. 118/- for dec.18. I just made payment of rs.1, 000/- against the said bill by cheque no. 000034 vide pmc bank fort branch for the purposes of credit bill. But unfortunately by bill dated 8/2/2019 there is a demand of rs.208/- stating that the arrears of bill as 111.12. I request you to withdraw the wrong bill dt. 8/2/2019 and issue a credit bill.         non installation of gas connections etc

        Sir we 09 resident of meryvilla nr Samarth school Badlapur east have filled the applications in the month of Dec 2017 alongwith the amount of rs 6635/-. The connections not installed so far. Number of emails were sent having docket no. 4136269 and reminder thereon besides talked with customer care executives but reason for not installing connections not reported till date.         unexplained and extremely high billing - mahanagar gas is a total nuisance

        I don't know how these guys have been given the task to supply gas services to the city people. I have received extremely high and baseless gas consumption bills for no reason. My consumption is less and yet the company has been sending a bill with very high charges. When i reported this to mahanagar gas, they asked me to get the meter checked and told me that there is a compulsory charge of 600 rupees for checking the meter. Inspite of being...

        Applied for domestic gas connection in february 2015. The same has nor been installed as on today's date of 16th jan 2019 almost 4 years post application. I have complained repeatedly under complaint no. 2325600 only to be assured that i will get a call in the next 24-48 hours with a solution to my complaint. No such calls have been received by me from mahanagar gas and there is no solution being offered.

        I need my gas connection to be installed with immediate effect but there is no reply or response from mgl

            I am an existing customer of mgl. I received mgl bill for the month of dec’18 for rs. 28, 699/- which is very huge & not acceptable at all. My previous bills were for the month of aug’18 & oct’18 of rs. 222/- & rs. 1321/- respectively. My ca no. Is[protected]. Request to look into this and help in getting the issue solved & please send rectified bill for this month, dec’18.

              Please note that your letter. Was lying in your office for 4 days before being posted after 4 days,
              Taking away the 4 days out of your 7 days notice.

              However please note that my last bill dated[protected], due on[protected], for rs 468/- (Estimated bill).
              Was paid on time.
              As per your letter we tried to submit details today on your website, and
              It was not accepted saying.. Please check your billing cycle.

              I seek your reply on the above as to when you are planning disconnection.

                I have already ecs payment of mahanagar gas (Pipe gas) domestic bill payment through my bank (Icici bank, thakur village branch) for many years.
                Since we do not stay for a long time and visit for two months in a year our consumption of gas is almost nil in every month excepting one/two months in a year. Normally it works to rs.50 to 75 monthly because of minimum charges. Our ecs limit is rs.300.
                Due to adopting assessed meter reading without taking the actual meter reading i found that the billing was done for more than 300 and impose penalty of rs.100 every billing cycle making it abnormally high. Recently i found that the bill was rs.441.91. Since i am not in mumbai currently i sought payment online. I had to pay rs.441.91 as i had no option.
                My complaint is if the bill is raised every quarter it can not exceed rs.300 and paymet is made through ecs. Moreover when the flat is locked for 10 moths continuously how the assessed meter reading will be multiplied every quarter? As a disciplined customer i paid the assessed bill but i request that the method of assessed meter reading should be reviewed and arrange to refund the excess amount of bill with the penalies recovred from me.

                    Ecs was through dena bank ghatkopar (E). On migration to nach the payment from the bank was not received by you. On intimation. I paid the the amount of 303 rupees,. By neft through canara bank, amar mahal, chembur, 400089 on 10/12/18. Having not received any bill from you. Today on 18/12/18 i received the bill demanding 410.32 rs as arrears of payment even though i had paid rs 303 already. The ref no is p[protected].in spite of such relevant information i was told by your office to give some photographs as proof. I feel such demand is a bit of harassment. You should not expect your customers to be highly proficient technical people. Some leniency should be shown to us as relevant information has already been submitted and has become available to you.

                      Application form was submitted on 08/09/2018 along with all documents and cheque for connection.
                      Till date there has been no response from the MGL. Tried calling customer service too but no one picks up the call. We can only hear the music in between the voice saying 'please wait while we transfer your call'. It is not always possible to go and enquire at the office.
                      Why is there no response after taking the money. At least they can pick up the call and tell us why it's taking so long.
                      Request you to please look into this matter and supply connection asap.

                      Couldn't find what category to put the complaint under so have put utility services

                          I have applied for new connection in july-18. I have been issued tax invoice [protected] on 9.8.2018. More than 100 days have passed but no reply. I submitted original flat maintenance at the time application & lady satisfied herself. Then i submit these details regarding residential address at grant road to staff of mr. Madan sir. He is very cooperative. This week again my wife received call from one more person on address matter. It seems the company does not policy to install new connection say in 30 days from realisation of deposit & other dues. It is high time that md of the come reviews this policy if in existence or if it is not there it introduces it. It must introduce accountability policy. The co. Has lost revenue for more than 75 days by not installing new connection. I am shareholder of the company & it means a lot to me. Thanks

                            Hi,

                            I had applied for a new gas connection for my new apartment. The gas pipeline already exists in the society and needs to be extended one floor into my house. It has been 100 days since i have raised the request and made the payment. But i am still awaiting connection or any response from mahanagar gas.

                            I have raised 3-4 complaints on the mahanagar gas helpline but no revert from them.

                            I am staying in my house without gas connection since 3 months and we are facing major inconvenience.

                            I need this issue to be resolved within a day as i have long waited for it already.

                              I have received a debit note from mahanagar gas on 14.09.2018.

                              In this note they have mentioned that the earlier meter was not functioning properly, so on basis of their new consumption pattern they have calculated 1.146 scm / day which results into outstanding amount of rs. 27, 760.

                              Till now i have paid all my bills regulary. But no idea, on what basis they have calculated 1.146 scm / day.

                              If the meter was faulty then why they havent changed the meter in 2014.
                              Why they have taken such a long period to resolve their fault.

                              Due to their negligence we have facing this issue. The mistake is from their side not from ours.

                              We have contacted mahanagar gas, regarding the same but they have ignored to resolve my issue. And they are forcing for the bill payment

                                The bill that recieved had assumption amount and meter reading which i informed through message, but no reply from mahanagr gas, and now they want to pay me the panelty as well.
                                So now i will have to pay assumption amount + penalty, atleast they should habe sent a message or intimation that your bill will be ajusted later. I was waiting for their reply after getting assumption bill and now they are saying to pay penalty along with assumption bill.

                                  Firstly the enginer told me that it is not feasiable to put gas piepline as my kitchen was coming on other side and as now i have asked him for the full amount of refund he is saying that he will put the gas pipeline connection through my hall.

                                  Just tell me that how it is possible for anyone to make their room look like a hotel by putting this gas pieline through the hall, who would agree to that..
                                  As i have asked for the amount full amount of refund, they are now saying that customer is not agreeing to put the gas conncetion and providing me the refund by cutting registration charges.. I want the full refund of rs 6635 nad not rs 5750

                                  Please help to get the refund for full amount even after doing such follw up...
