Please note I come to this residence in CBD Belapur(which is locked) once in few months and although have taken a gas connection have not installed any gas unit for cooking purposes. Am shocked to see in the latest bill of May19, a billing amount of RS 2, 826.50, which includes consumption charges of Rs 2, 386.34 (84 units).
Till last month it was never showing any consumption.
Please look into the same urgently and arrange for revised billing.

We are sinior citizens and it is difficult for us to pay the bill on the same day. We have to run to the post office leaving our important work.     I need to lock the meter temporarily for three months. Please call me on [protected] or [protected] before you come to do the job as the flat is locked. I will call you again when I will need to unlock the same. I do not want the gas metre unlocked in the house when the place is not being used. Thanking you

      This is with reference to the bill generated date on 11/05/2019 for the subject ca no in the name of satra diwaribein khimjisutra.

      The bill amount is generated as rs. 2492 which is incorrect and extremely high than the actual usage. As our previous bill amount used to be rs.1500 approx. You may also refer previous readings & usage details for better understanding of my concern. Please have the same corrected at the earliest.
      Request you to look after our complain as soon as possible.

        I am a sr. Citizen staying in juhu vile parle west. Our housing society already has mahanagar gas connection. I had recently applied for a new gas connection for my flat, and i filled up the form online and got application number wg/o/51261/2019. However i could not make online payment as i am not computer savvy and even then i tried to pay online half a dozen times. But every time i was asked to give consumer number for making payment. I do not have consumer number, but only the above application number, but the system doesn't accept the payment with application number.in this connection i requested your customer support to help me.in reply they asked me to make payment by cheque.in response i sent by speed post ref no: en17993534in ivr :[protected], my cheque for rs.6635=00 on the saraswat bank - juhu church branch, bearing no. 068924 dated 10.4.2019. However my account is not yet debited for the payment made as above. I then visited juhu post office to find out if my speed post was delivered to you. The post officer checked in my presence by tracking the speed post delivery website and found that the consignment no. En[protected]in was delivered to your receipt section in bandra east on 12th april 2019. Accordingly i emailed to your customer support, but i am still waiting for reply.
        Kindly check and please let me know how to proceed further in the matter.

As I am using gas cylinders, I had recently applied for a new gas connection for my flat, and I filled up the form online and got application number WG/O/51261/2019. I do not have consumer number, but only the above application number, but the system doesn't accept the payment with application number. In this connection I requested MGL customer support to help me. In reply they asked me to make payment by cheque. In response I sent by speed post Ref no: EN17993534IN IVR :[protected], my cheque for Rs.6635=00 on The Saraswat Bank - Juhu Church branch, bearing no. 068924 dated 10.4.2019. However my account is not yet debited for the payment made as above.I then visited Juhu Post Office to find out if my Speed Post was delivered to MGL. The post officer checked in my presence by tracking the speed post delivery website and found that the consignment no. EN[protected]IN was delivered to MGL receipt section in Bandra East on 12th April 2019. Accordingly I emailed to their customer support, but I am still waiting for their reply.
        Kindly check and please let me know how to proceed further in the matter.

          I says that current bill dt 05.04.2019 is sent for rs 5827.

          I am confused to see my gas reading nos.in two months is 168 whereas normally in two months reading comes 30 units approx. You can see the same from past gas consumption history from installation of gas pipe line at my residence.

          I had given complaint on consumer service on 15.04.2019. Technician had visited today ie 06.05.2019. On checking the meter he informed that the meter is faulty. He informed me that meter will be replace in next 8 days.

          Such high bill of rs 5827 is not any fault from our side.

          I hereby request you to kindly send me the fresh bill which is about rs 700 to 800 that i receive. And accordingly i can pay the same.

          Else i had to think of shifting my gas supply connection with hp connection in my home as it is very cheap & normal charges.

            I had dropped my cheque No. 029852 dated[protected] for Rs. 1235/- drawn on Income Tax Co. Op. Bank Ltd., Mumbai. The cheque was dropped in Axis Bank, Marine Line Branch, Mumbai on[protected]. Due date for Payment was[protected]. A message was received on[protected] my mobile phone no. [protected] that payment was not received and penalty of Rs. 1435/- to be paid. On[protected] a message was received on my mobile "Thank you for your payment towards MGL gas bill dues for Rs. 1235 is received and credited to your account.
            On 26-27 message was received "You have defaulted on the dues payble to MGLPNG against CA[protected]. Make payment of Rs. 1435 urgently to avoid disconnection. What happened to my cheque 029852 which was dropped in Axis Bank on[protected]. I had dropped my cheque well in time and in case it was misplaced/missing in your custody it is not my fault.               Causing inconvenience by digging and creating hazardous situation to the general public at sector 16a nerul. Firstly of all want to check whether the public in our area is interested for gas. If there is no demand then why creating digging? Secondly want to check whether approval was taken from concerned authorities for digging well maintained roads. For whom or whose benefit or interest such measures were taken if the public is not in demand.

              Thirdly and most important after one week the sector 16a nerul road is still not repaired having stones and air pollution adding manance to summer heat. Usually such repairing to be done along with re tarring immediately. Who gave authority to keep the roads still not re tarred for more none week.

              An explanation along with action of re tarring is expected immediately.

                We are getting highly inflated bills of mahanagar gas since last few months.
                While our bill used to be appx rs300 earlier, now it comes as rs 900 /rs 2100 every alternate month.
                Complaining to the company, they send some thirdparty person who threatens that "if there is no meter fault we have to pay rs 650."
                Then some doubtful assessmentof meter is done which is very shady and then the representative declares meter is fine, so pay rs 650.
                No explanations for, why the bill is inflated for the same household with variations from rs[protected].
                Consumer has no say and is just a mute witness to this collusion between the gas company and the third party service maintenance.
                I feel the bills are purposefully inflated so that we are forced to get the meter checked and pay the service agency.

                  Dear team,

                  I was applied for png connection 4 month back but still it is not done.

                  I have already paid all my registration fees in october 2018.

                  Various time i called customer care but same response from there end, (Next 24 hrs our person will call you) but almost 15 day over no call from mahanagar gas.

                  Few days back i have received mail from customer support with their regular standard line.

                  "thank you for giving us an opportunity to serve you and we acknowledge receipt of your e-mail appended below.

                  Our team will review your concern with due care and update the status to you suitably."

                  I am very disappointed in the service provided by mgl. They have delayed the installation and made false commitments which is very unexpected of a reputed company such as mgl.

                  If an immediate action is not taken from your side then i will be compelled to legalize this matter by taking it to the consumer courts.

                      I had applied for a pipe gasline in 2012. But no-one turned up. I called many times throughout the years but yet the pipe gasline set up is not being set. The customer care services are also not doing anything towards it.

                            unexplained and extremely high billing - mahanagar gas is a total nuisance

                            I don't know how these guys have been given the task to supply gas services to the city people. I have received extremely high and baseless gas consumption bills for no reason. My consumption is less and yet the company has been sending a bill with very high charges. When i reported this to mahanagar gas, they asked me to get the meter checked and told me that there is a compulsory charge of 600 rupees for checking the meter. Inspite of being...

                            Applied for domestic gas connection in february 2015. The same has nor been installed as on today's date of 16th jan 2019 almost 4 years post application. I have complained repeatedly under complaint no. 2325600 only to be assured that i will get a call in the next 24-48 hours with a solution to my complaint. No such calls have been received by me from mahanagar gas and there is no solution being offered.

                            I need my gas connection to be installed with immediate effect but there is no reply or response from mgl

                                I am an existing customer of mgl. I received mgl bill for the month of dec’18 for rs. 28, 699/- which is very huge & not acceptable at all. My previous bills were for the month of aug’18 & oct’18 of rs. 222/- & rs. 1321/- respectively. My ca no. Is[protected].                                   Please note that your letter. Was lying in your office for 4 days before being posted after 4 days,
                                  Taking away the 4 days out of your 7 days notice.

                                  As per your letter we tried to submit details today on your website, and

                                    I have already ecs payment of mahanagar gas (Pipe gas) domestic bill payment through my bank (Icici bank, thakur village branch) for many years.
                                    Since we do not stay for a long time and visit for two months in a year our consumption of gas is almost nil in every month excepting one/two months in a year. Normally it works to rs.50 to 75 monthly because of minimum charges. Our ecs limit is rs.300.
                                    Due to adopting assessed meter reading without taking the actual meter reading i found that the billing was done for more than 300 and impose penalty of rs.100 every billing cycle making it abnormally high. Recently i found that the bill was rs.441.91. Since i am not in mumbai currently i sought payment online. I had to pay rs.441.91 as i had no option.
                                    My complaint is if the bill is raised every quarter it can not exceed rs.300 and paymet is made through ecs. Moreover when the flat is locked for 10 moths continuously how the assessed meter reading will be multiplied every quarter? As a disciplined customer i paid the assessed bill but i request that the method of assessed meter reading should be reviewed and arrange to refund the excess amount of bill with the penalies recovred from me.
