Subject: Complaint regarding inordinate delay in processing Name Transfer Application – BP No. 50128072 | Application No. NT[protected]
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am constrained to lodge this formal complaint regarding the unjustified delay in processing my application for the transfer of ownership of the PNG connection bearing BP No. 50128072.
I purchased the property where the above-mentioned PNG connection is installed and completed all the formalities prescribed by MNGL. The chronology of events is as follows:
06.05.2026: Submitted the duly filled Name Transfer Application along with all the required supporting documents at the MNGL Shivajinagar Office. The documents included the Name Transfer Form, NOC from the previous owner, Ownership Transfer Request, Index-II, PMC Property Tax Receipt, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, and the prescribed transfer charges of ?250.
23.05.2026: Uploaded the complete application online under Application No. NT[protected] and emailed the same to [protected]@mngl.in, requesting verification and processing.
25.06.2026: Sent the first follow-up email requesting an update on the application.
02.07.2026: Sent another reminder after observing that the application status continued to show "Pending."
06.07.2026: Re-submitted the complete set of supporting documents via email.
06.07.2026 (7:42 PM): Sent a further reminder requesting immediate processing of my application.
Despite submitting the application through both physical and online modes and making repeated follow-ups over the past two months, I have neither received any acknowledgment nor any communication regarding any deficiency in the documents or the reasons for the delay. My application continues to remain pending without any justification.
The inaction on the part of MNGL amounts to an unreasonable delay and a clear deficiency in customer service. If any document or clarification was required, the same should have been communicated to me promptly. Instead, my repeated emails and requests have remained unanswered.
I therefore request you to:
Process my Name Transfer Application for BP No. 50128072 immediately.
Confirm the current status of my application in writing.
Inform me, if any additional document or formality is genuinely required.
Complete the name transfer within 7 days from the receipt of this complaint.
Please treat this letter as my final representation before I am constrained to seek appropriate legal remedies before the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission and other competent authorities for deficiency in service, unnecessary delay, and the inconvenience caused. I shall also seek compensation for the mental harassment and litigation costs incurred due to your inaction.
I hope MNGL will address this matter promptly and avoid the necessity of legal proceedings.
Thanking you.
Yours faithfully,
Mr. Vijay Ramkisan Thirani
