I am raising this formal complaint regarding the extremely disappointing and distressing experience I have faced with my Club Mahindra membership from the very beginning of enrollment.
The membership was sold to me based on false assurances and misleading commitments made by your sales representative. At the time of enrollment, I was specifically informed that the Annual Subscription Fees (ASF) would be managed through referrals arranged by him. This assurance was one of the primary reasons I agreed to purchase the membership.
However, shockingly, within barely a month of joining, I started receiving ASF payment demands. When I contacted the sales representative regarding this contradiction, he initially advised me to ignore the calls and payment requests. Soon after, he completely stopped responding to my calls and messages, leaving me without any support or clarification.
This experience clearly reflects unethical sales conduct and deliberate misrepresentation to secure memberships.
Thereafter, when I formally escalated the matter, I received communication in February 2026 assuring me that my full refund would be processed shortly. Based on this assurance, I expected a fair resolution from Club Mahindra.
Instead, I have now received communication stating that a major portion of my payment will be retained under contractual clauses despite:
No meaningful services or holiday benefits being availed by me;
The membership being sold through misleading promises;
Earlier assurance from your own team that a full refund would be processed.
It is shocking and unacceptable that Club Mahindra is attempting to confiscate a substantial amount from a customer who was misled into purchasing the membership in the first place.
The entire sequence of events — misleading sales promises, ignored communications, contradictory commitments, and unfair refund handling — has caused severe mental stress, harassment, and loss of trust.
I therefore request the following immediate resolution:
Full refund of the entire amount paid by me;
Interest on the retained amount at prevailing market rates from the date of payment until refund;
Formal investigation into the conduct of the concerned sales representative and handling team;
Closure of this matter on priority to avoid escalation before consumer protection and legal authorities.
Please treat this as a serious grievance requiring urgent attention.
