I purchased a refurbished iPhone 12 from Cashify’s Supersale (Invoice: NOI[protected] on 01/03/2025 The device was advertised as fully functional and in excellent condition, but I encountered multiple serious issues upon delivery:
Battery Not Charging Properly: The phone fails to charge consistently, rendering it unreliable for daily use.
Ear Speaker Not Working: The ear speaker is non-functional, making calls impossible without external devices.
Cracked Back Panel: The phone arrived with a cracked back panel, contradicting Cashify’s “excellent condition” claim.
Tampering/Misrepresentation: Apple officially confirmed in writing that my iPhone 12’s original color is Black, but Cashify delivered a Purple device, indicating tampering or a duplicate body. This is a clear case of fraud and misrepresentation.
I raised complaints with Cashify (Ticket Nos:[protected] and[protected], but they have refused to provide a replacement or refund, ignoring their 7-day return policy and 6-month warranty promises. Their customer service has been unresponsive and dismissive, leaving me with a defective, tampered product.Due to Cashify’s refusal to resolve this, I escalated the matter to the National Consumer Helpline (NCH Docket No: 7821033), which is ongoing. This experience reflects a pattern of Cashify selling defective or misrepresented devices, as seen in numerous similar complaints online.Resolution Sought:Immediate full refund for the defective and tampered iPhone 12 (Invoice: NOI[protected].
Compensation for the inconvenience, financial loss, and mental harassment caused by Cashify’s fraudulent practices.
Action against Cashify for misleading advertising and failing to honor warranty commitments.
Cashify’s actions violate consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, for selling defective goods and engaging in unfair trade practices. I urge ConsumerComplaints.in to intervene and ensure justice. This is a warning to other consumers about Cashify’s unethical practices.
