Manali Xpress — Travel

If given an option, I would not even give one star to this company.
I had paid and got a confirmed seat from Delhi to Leh with this agency through suv and taxi.
Once I arrived Manali, there was noone to pick me up or let me know where to go next. I called her and she asked to drop by the hotel. Once I reached hotel, the receptionist clearly mentioned no booking was done for me. And when I called her, she told me that the hotel guy will arrange another hotel. When I checked with him, he was rude enough to tell me that he doesn't have time right away. After waiting for nearly 1-2 hrs, she took me to her home to freshen up and the hotel got alloted in the evening (Which was not a clean room). I let that go.

Then from Manali to Jispa, I was made to travel alone in a car inspite of me booking a group tour and clearly mentioning at the time of booking that I would want to travel half way by bike. She promised that her group was late and would catch up with me the next day as per plan.

Then from Jispa to Leh, I was told to be ready by 7am and i kept calling her since 7am and she was full of excuses saying her group is not there and cab is not found etc. She asked me to pay 7000 to cab as her G-pay is not functioning and that she would refund ne immediately but I refused. And I didn't get a cab till 11am as she didn't book a cab the prior day. And I reached Leh by 10pm missing all the view since evening. When I argued that I would reach Leh quite late, she told me its just 6 hours journey from Jispa to Leh when I kept contradicting her as per google maps.

And she made me pay 2000 to the cottage I was staying which was ideally in my package promising me she would refund the very next day which she didn't.

Plus I had to face mental harrasment as she didn't pay the cab driver till 2-3 days (not sure if its paid now).

And I haven't got my 2000 refund.

When finally I lost my cool and argued l, she told me she did a favour on me as she sent me alone. Heights o[censored]nprofessionalism as first of all you didn't give me SUV and Bike as promised. And you didn't provide me cab.

For all the mental agony I faced, she should be compensating me with damages. Instead I lost extra 2000

So please guys, spare yourself and avoid this unprofessional tour agency.

Edit - I don't understand what kind of service is this when you take the payment confirming a seat and later don't stick to the words. Had they wanted to cancel the trip, they should have informed me or not taken my payment, I would have opted elsewhere. Pathetic service. And they say I want it for free. I never demanded I want to go alone, i sticked to the plan but the fault was from their side, for which they haven't even apologised once. Don't know how they run the business. I have travelled all over world and all other groups are so reliable that I have opted for except for Manali Xpress. Manali Xpress books your seat with a group and sends you alone and that too not on time and then lets you get mentally harrassed and then say that they did a favour when in reality they spoil the vacation for no fault of yours.

Also they have hidden my last review. Hence reposting the same.

I agree with you. This agency and owner Priyanka Thakur should be black listed for cheating innocent travellers of their hard earned money. Tourism ministry should take strict actions against such cheats
