I purchased an used mobile from OLX from a person named Maragatham Kathaieeswaraswamy (contact no. [protected]). This contact number is his PhonePe number and on this number only I sent the full money. Nowadays OLX supports home delivery for used things. The person told me to pay the full money for the phone in advance (prepaid), I video called him from WhatsApp and saw him going to DTDC courier service (Chennai, Tamilnadu). In front of the courier office, he showed me the mobile in his hand with the box. Then I paid him 1000 rupees in advance as I said to him that only after he gets the mobile packaged by the courier with the tracking number, I will give him the remaining amount. So he went inside the courier office and sent me a picture of the mobile phone box inside the courier packet, trying to prove that the mobile phone is getting packaged. Then I video call him from WhatsApp and saw the whole footage of the mobile getting fully packaged by the woman working at the desk, that my biggest mistake was I forgot to check whether the mobile was really inside the phone box when it was getting packed. The woman made the parcel of the phone properly and wrote the cheater seller's address and my address on the parcel. After the parcel making was ready the cheater seller requested me repeatedly to pay the remaining amount to him. That is how I lost my 7000 rupees to him. Today the parcel was delivered to me and after opening the parcel I saw there was no mobile inside the box, only the box was there. On the box it is written "empty phone box" but during the time of video call he folded that part so that I cannot see that. It is very clear that the woman working there in DTDC courier Chennai took a bribe and helped the cheater to do this crime. Please try to do something to help me out or at least take some action against the DTDC courier of Chennai for helping this cheater in carrying out his disgusting work.
