I purchased a mercedes benz c-220d from sundaram motors bangalore on 11/04/2019. The car was invoiced and delivered to me 11/04/2019 and the full amount including the registration cost was paid by me. However the car was not registered by rto and i was told to take the delivery of the car on the pretext that the same would be done within 2 days. However despite on my repeated followups this was continuously postponed for more than 10 days. Upon my insistence to register my car immediately, i was told by mr. Bijoy (Sales head) that if i want to register my car immediately i must pay extra amount for registration. This was utterly shocking for me since i had paid the full amount including the registration charges as per the invoice.
This is extremely unethical practice by sundaram motors to charge extra amount for registration. I am stuck with an unregistered car worth 45 lakhs which is a huge amount for a 29 year old man. Was this information helpful? |
