who resolved this issue??

Today 14.09.2017, my son blood test were conducted but before collecting the blood, the sister took out three tubes and pasted the barcode over there. I apprehended some mistake there as the previous patient's barcode was pasted on my son's blood sample tube. when I asked the sister, she didn't bother to cross checked but rather confirm that the bar code is correct and handed over to me for check it. My apprehension was right. It was in the name of previous patient i.e Mrs. Jyoti. when I objected and asked why you were playing with the patient's life by putting the wrong barcode on the blood sample. she admitted her mistake as a routine way. Thereafter another sister handled it. I was not satisfied what happened in the lab. I wanted to bring it to the notice of the key person of the lab, Mr. KK Yadav. I apprised him in detail. He was neither confident nor surprised to know the mistake in his lab. He took my feedback in very light mood as such things happens or may happen in the lab. It is a very serious act on the part of the centre as the treatment is based on the lab reports only. It was a blunder and act of irresponsibility. I do not know, how many time such blunders have happened with the other patients in the past. I requested Mr. Yadav to look into and ensure such things should not happen with any one. Now there is big question before me whether the reports of this lab should be relied upon or not. The management of MDRCIndia should learn a lesson of RYAN case. Hope corrective measure will be taken immediately.
