It is to bring to your kind notice that the complainant availed the services of the m/s takeoff worldwide for eb-2 visa for usa government job and paid the initial amount of rs 5, 000/= on 14/01/2013 and rs. 80, 000/= on 23/01/2013 at lucknow through online mode of payment from allahabad bank, lucknow into their account, so that opposite party can start the procedure.
Consequently i submitted my documents to the opposite party for foreign credential assessment.In march, 2013, i received a "letter of refusal" from the us foreign credential assessment office.
Then i immediately contacted the opposite party with the refusal letter and asked them for the refund. Since my application for usa visa and job was rejected at the very initial stage of the process by usa government office, i asked them to refund the sum. But the opposite party forced me to continue with the procedure in spite of refusal and pay further the remaining balance amount.
The complainant then tried to contact the above company several times through e-mails and on telephone for refund of money but the opposite party did not refund the sum as above and kept silent.
Again i sent a letter to the opposite party on 17/02/2014 for resolving the problem.
It is clear from the whole episode that a fraud has been committed against me and it is a clear breach of trust.
I hereby request the commission to direct the opposite party to apologize for the inconvenience, pay a sum of rs 85000/= with interest, and a sum of fifty thousand for the mental agony. Was this information helpful? |
