I am a resident of G-606, Golden Sand Apartment, Dhakoli, and I wish to bring to your attention the increasing menace of stray dogs in our locality, Golden Sand Apartment, Near Sushma Square, Dhakoli, Zirakpur 140603. Over the past few weeks/months, the population of street dogs has risen considerably, causing fear and inconvenience among the residents.

The primary concerns we are facing are as follows:

1. Frequent dog bites and attacks, creating safety risks for children, elderly people, and morning walkers.

2. Continuous barking at night, disturbing peace and sleep.

3. Unhygienic conditions, with stray dogs often rummaging through garbage bins and scattering waste, creating health hazards.

4. Obstruction of movement, especially for school-going children and delivery personnel.

We, the residents of Golden Sand Apartment, Dhakoli, Zirakpur 140603, request the Municipal Corporation to kindly take immediate and effective action to address this issue, such as:

1. Deploying the Animal Control Team for sterilization and vaccination drives.

2. Relocating aggressive dogs to recognized shelters.

3. Ensuring proper waste management to reduce the congregation of stray animals.
