I am residing in flat no. 33 a, ad block, pitampura. I am on the ground floor. The common drain pipe of all the flats, i. E. 33 b, 33c and 33 d flush out into a common drain which is inside my balcony. From this drain water flushes out to the outer drain and then to the main drain on the road. This internal channel or pipe through which dirt water flows into the outer drain and main manhole is blocked. As a result, the water levels in the internal and external drains has risen. Whenever the residents of the first, second and third floor wash clothes or clean their balcony with water, the dirty water from the internal drain flows out onto my balcony and gets logged outside my flat which breeds mosquitoes, flies and other insects. Being all the time wet the road has also become slippery and moss ridden rendering walking difficult and accident prone.

Please also note that i have bed-ridden patient at home who has a complex medical history of cancer and alzheimer's. The dirty water flowing out of the drains breeding insects is detrimental to safety, hygiene and sanitation which is utmost priority in this case.

You are therefore requested to direct the concerned authority to get the internal and external drains cleaned on urgent basis to ensure safety, sanitation and hygiene.
