Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to file a formal complaint against Murahara Tours and Travels regarding the unprofessional conduct I experienced during my recent journey from Bangalore to Karunagapalli.
On 25th jan 2024 I booked my travel with Murahara Tours and Travels for the mentioned route, and my boarding time was scheduled for 7:30 PM. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by the irresponsible actions of the travel agency and its staff.
At 7:10 PM, I received a call from the travel agency informing me that the bus would arrive within the next 5 minutes. Despite informing them that I was on my way and would reach on time, I was bombarded with repeated calls. Upon reaching the boarding point at 7:33 PM, I discovered that the bus had already departed, with the driver, Ahamed, refusing to listen to my concerns.
Despite my explanation that I was only 3 minutes late and could have easily caught the bus, the driver was uncooperative and insisted I travel to the next destination, Madiwalla, which was an hour away. Upon reaching Madiwalla and complaining to the travel staff, they showed minimal concern and took no corrective action and not even an apology.
To exacerbate matters, when the bus finally arrived after 5-8 minutes, the driver and helper displayed further unprofessional behavior. The driver, instead of addressing the situation, resorted to scolding me. Moreover, the helper refused to assist with loading my suitcase, which I found unacceptable considering I paid Rs. 2600 for the service. The situation escalated when, in anger, the driver threw my suitcase into the bus, potentially causing damage to my laptop and other valuable belongings.
This entire incident has caused me significant distress and inconvenience. I request the Consumer Court to investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action against Murahara Tours and Travels for their unprofessional conduct and negligence.
I seek compensation for the mental anguish, inconvenience, and potential damage caused to my belongings due to the reckless behavior of Murahara Tours and Travels.
