On 26th March, 2016 (date of purchase), the complainant purchased two jeans for men myntra Order. No.[protected], Order details:
• Item No. 1:HRX BY HRITHIK ROSHAN Premium Blue Slim Jeans: INR 1180.78
• Item No. 2:LEE Black Low-Bruce Skinny Fit Jeans: INR 2099.16
The total purchase amount for both the items was INR 3, 279/- (Three thousand, two hundred and seventy nine only). The items were delivered on 31 March, 2016 vide Invoice No.INV_[protected], dated 26 March, 2016.
The products did not fit to my size and as per the company’s (myntra) policy of 30 day return-refund, I initiated the return-refund request on 03 April, 2016 and the reply email from myntra was that the return-refund request has been received, kindly courier the items to our store and the shipping charges to be incurred will be reimbursed by company (myntra). Then, I placed both the items in single package similar to the way, the items were delivered to me (complainant) by myntra and as per the guidelines given in email, I have shipped both the products back to the stated address via DTDC as the courier partner with the charges incurred as INR 180/- for the weight of 1.5 Kgs of the package (parcel).
Both jeans were returned back to myntra from complainant on 07 April 2016.
An Amount of INR 1180/- has been refunded against item No. 1 by myntra.
and myntra is denying the reception of item No. 2 whereas, both the items were in the same package. The refund of item no. 2 has not been made yet. The shipping charges for returning the items to myntra has not made yet also.
DTDC is submitting that the package was intact throughout the shipment.
It is depicted that the opponents have done problems at their own ends, and they need to refund the hard earned money and the inconvenience suffered by the complainant.
