Subject: Formal Complaint – Order Marked as Delivered Without OTP Verification and Non-Receipt of Product
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to raise a formal complaint regarding my order placed on the Myntra app, which has been fraudulently or erroneously marked as "Delivered" despite the product never being delivered to me.
Order Details:
- Order ID: #133912167948738997703
- Product Name: Evanden Men baseball cap 2 pies
- Order Date: 20th August 2026
- Date Marked as Delivered: 25th August 2026
- Amount Paid: Rs. 319
- Payment Mode: PREPAID
On the above date, the app status changed to "Delivered, " however I did not receive the product, and at no point did I receive or share an OTP with the delivery partner to authorize this delivery. I was not contacted by the delivery agent, no attempt was made to hand over the package, and I have not signed or acknowledged receipt in any form.
I immediately reported this issue to Myntra Customer Care on 25th August 2026 and was given ticket number : IN[protected], but the issue remains unresolved as of today.
I would like to formally request the following:
1. A copy of the Proof of Delivery (POD), including delivery photo, GPS location, and OTP verification log for this order.
2. An investigation into the delivery partner/courier responsible for this order.
3. A full refund of Rs. 319 with compensation or immediate reshipment of the product, at my discretion.
4. Written confirmation of the resolution and timeline within 7 working days of this email.
Please note that marking an order as delivered without actual delivery and without OTP confirmation amounts to a deficiency in service under Section 2(11) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and may also constitute an unfair trade practice under Section 2(47) of the same Act. If this matter is not resolved satisfactorily, I will be compelled to escalate this complaint to the National Consumer Helpline, file a case before the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, and/or pursue appropriate legal remedies, including under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, if fraud on the part of the delivery partner is established.
I trust Myntra will treat this matter with the urgency it deserves and resolve it promptly.
Regards,
SK Riyazur Rashid
