N.l Dalmia Institute Of Management Studies And Research — I am complaing about harassment faced in the college

I am a student of N.L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research and have paid ₹8, 00, 000 towards academic fees. On 19 February, I mistakenly picked up another student’s bag unintentionally and without any dishonest intent.
Subsequently, I was falsely accused of stealing a laptop and was repeatedly pressured and harassed not only by faculty members but also by senior authorities including the Dean and Director to produce the same. Despite my full cooperation, no proper or fair investigation was conducted, and I was subjected to continuous mental harassment and reputational harm without any evidence.
When my mother visited the institution regarding this matter, she was not treated respectfully and was subjected to inappropriate and dismissive behavior, which further aggravated the situation.
The laptop was later found within the college premises itself (in a washroom area) and was never recovered from my possession. Despite this, I continue to face allegations that I had planted the laptop, which is completely false and baseless. I had not attended the college for nearly one month prior to the recovery of the laptop, making such allegations unreasonable and unjustified.
The conduct of the institution reflects serious deficiency in service, negligence, harassment, and violation of principles of natural justice. Due to this, I have suffered severe emotional distress, mental harassment, and damage to my reputation.
I am therefore seeking refund of the fees paid along with compensation for mental harassment and reputational damage.
