Nagar Nigam Dehradun — Complaint Regarding Aggressive Stray Dogs in the Colony

For the past six months, residents have been facing continuous distress due to a group of approximately 12 stray dogs residing in the area.

These dogs bark aggressively throughout the night, causing disturbance and fear among residents. There have also been incidents where a few people were bitten. We are unsure whether these dogs are vaccinated, which further increases safety concerns. Many residents feel unsafe stepping outside their homes without carrying sticks or other means of protection, as the dogs often chase and corner people near their houses.

This situation has created an atmosphere of fear and insecurity in the colony. We kindly request the concerned authorities to take immediate and appropriate action to address this issue and ensure the safety of residents.
