On the pretext of guest house booking the attendant made us to make excess payment . When asked for refund, he made us to make multiple Gpay transactions quoting the feature of his PoS machines . However in spite of making multiple attempts the refund was not processed. Instead we lost about 83000 Rs from account and also they did not provide any receipt or rooms booking confirmation.
When asked for escalation point, we were given a number - [protected] from TTD. Here again the "responsible" person kept on toeing a helpless line quoting issues and features of the PoS machine instead of processing refund in a standard way like UPI or net banking.
Concerned about how this can happen with a renowned institution like TTD. Why cant they refund refund money though standard transaction instead of asking us to make additional Gpay attempts ? Seems really fishy Was this information helpful? |
