I am resident of Mangalbhairav B15 - 303 in Nanded City, Sinhgad Road Pune since November 21, 2015.
I am facing severe noise, air pollution, due to heavy industrial workshop right in front of the building in 50 ft distance.
The consistent noises and smoke of Generators, drilling, welding, pounding, heavy machinery, JCBs, trucks etc begin at 9 am and remain whole day, even sometimes until 12 pm. This makes the Mangal Bhairav B15 and around, not at all a livable place. This will cause health problems to residents as they are continuously exposed to such unhealthy pollution.
While Buying the flat, I and other residents were not informed about this problem. Also, we were not allowed to visit the actual site before booking the flats. I am feeling deceived, because I have paid heavy price to buy this flat and am helpless now. Same is the feeling of other residents.
A heavy industrial workshop close to residential area is extremely hazardous and is making it very difficult to stay in the flat while facing the extreme noises from outside.
My basic right to have a healthy living is not being fulfilled, and Nanded City has dismissed my complaint saying that the source of noise is not in their boundery. But, then, my question is why they built the residential complex at first place since they were aware that the surrounding area is purely industrial and it will harm the potential residents.
This is directly affecting our lives, and we need justice, as we won't be able to resale the flats as future buys won't approve this problem and also, it won't be ethical to deceive them regarding this.
