Urgent Concern: Lack of Transparency in Ketto Campaign for Preterm Baby
I’m writing as a family friend of Akshay and Aishwarya Biranje, whose preterm baby was admitted to Sai Sparsh Children Hospital, Kolhapur for NICU care.
A fundraising campaign was launched on Ketto, in collaboration with your foundation, to raise ₹3.5–4.5 lakhs. Over ₹2 lakhs has been raised with support from 200+ donors.
However, I am deeply concerned by the following:
Only approx. ₹50, 000 has been used for treatment.
The remaining funds have not been transferred to the family or hospital.
The campaign remains live, despite the baby’s discharge.
Incorrect information has been shared with donors.
There is a lack of transparency, leading to donor mistrust.
This raises serious concerns about the misuse of funds meant for the baby’s treatment.
