Naukri prime – fraud

The very next day after uploading my profile on naukri job portal in november 2018 i have received a call from one mr. Naman verma (Of naukri prime) claiming that naukri prime is a subsidiary of naukri job portal with an objective to help the job seeker with more opportunities. The modus operandi would be a paid registration by the job seeker who would be receiving at least 3 job calls in a month and the validity would be for 3 yrs..

Initially, i have not agreed to this. But after multiple follow ups from naman and his colleague rahul, i have agreed to subscribe as the amount mentioned for registration is inr 2832/- and after paying it from my credit card (Thru moto tpsl.. Mumbai gateway) i was asked to click on generate id as it is a part of the process. Only after clicking on generate id, i have realized that i need to pay an additional amount of inr 10433/-. This triggered that something is not right and argued with them that it is not professional and ethical to keep hidden charges but the name naukri made me feel that these folks could be beginners who weren’t properly calibrated on handling these kind of transacations. Hence i ended paying the entire amount of inr 13, 465 in total thru moto tps gateway. I have followed up for email confirmation and i haven’t received any email confirmation with my id, payment related confirmation. All my efforts in following up went in vain.

After this transaction i have never received any call from them or from any corporates in regard to any interview for any job. I have done multiple follow ups and i was always told that dec 2018 and jan 2019 are when the job market would be down considering the holiday season. When i have started calling them with a ray of hope in february, both the numbers are switched off and their website is also down.

I am utterly shocked to realize that this is a trap and i am being cheated.in fact i am wondering how many such aspirants were contacted and looted by them.
