Subject: Complaint Against Nettech India for Fraudulent Practices, Financial Loss, and Employment Deception

Respected Sir/Madam,
I, Monish Sakpal, along with other affected students, including Mr. Anirudh Pawar, wish to formally file a complaint against Nettech India, operating through its Nerul and Thane branches, for fraudulent practices, false assurances, and unethical behavior.
Details of the Complaint
False Promises and Misleading Assurances (October 2023):
During my visit to the Nerul branch on October 27, 2023, the Sales Manager, Mr. Aman, guaranteed 100% job placement and significant salary hikes regardless of prior experience.
Based on these assurances, I enrolled in their Master’s Program in Data Science and Data Analytics, paying ₹90, 000. The course was falsely marketed as a job-oriented program with guaranteed placements.
Financial Commitments and Loan Processing (December 2023):
I paid the course fee using my savings and secured an educational loan from Akshaar Finance. My first EMI of ₹7, 917 was debited on the same day.
Despite these commitments, the institute failed to deliver the promised services.
Employment Deception:
On assurances that I would secure employment after completing the first course module, I resigned from my previous job.
However, after completing the module, no placement support or opportunities were provided, leaving me unemployed and financially strained.
Course Delays and Substandard Teaching:
The course was delayed, and the first module (Python) commenced only after repeated follow-ups.
The teaching quality was poor, with unprofessional conduct by staff. For instance, Professor Hamid publicly humiliated me during an AI module, and no action was taken against him.
Contradictory Placement Policies:
The HR Manager, Ms. Harpreet, contradicted Mr. Aman’s assurances, stating that placements were only available to candidates with prior experience, which was not disclosed during admission.
Impact on Other Students:
Mr. Anirudh Pawar was falsely promised a salary package of ₹13–20 lakhs, which was later denied.
Mr. Akash Geete, who completed the course six months ago, received no placement assistance and was ignored by the management.
Present Status (as of December 2024):
Despite repeated follow-ups via emails, phone calls, and in-person visits, the institute has refused to address our grievances, leaving us in financial and professional distress.

Request for Action:
I kindly urge the Honorable Forum to:
Investigate Nettech India for fraudulent practices under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Take necessary legal action to prevent further exploitation of students.
Direct the institute to refund fees and compensate for financial and mental distress caused.
Your prompt attention to this matter would ensure justice and prevent others from falling victim to such unethical practices.
