Ngo Darpan (Pratham Foundation) — fraud ngo call and requesting for money

I also have got call from a lady and she was claiming that
she is from NGO Darpan. she said exactly what you
mentioned above. i had got a call at 2:33 PM

I am getting calls from them since last 2 days and everyday from different numbers. They are found to be fake So do not trust such firms.

I also receive a call from [protected] on 29-aug-2017 at 1:05 pm. He said they are from Darpan NGO. He ask me for donation for any child who is burn and admit in apolo hospital. Is that real or Fake ?

i got a call from [protected]..on Sept 8 2017. with the same story...Thanks for your comment which help me to identify them as a fraud. Don't Believe on them or anyone. Please check carefully before Donation.

i just received call with the same detail from no. [protected].

Even I got call from this ngo, [protected] and [protected] stating the same summary. And they threatening in the name of God: "one person ignored last time and he lost his job in 2 days. You will also loose your job".

It means people from NGO darpan are leaking out the details of a registered Ngos ? who is responsible for this ?

I also got a call from them mobile number [protected] asking for help for a burnt child.

Same thing here today at 12:45pm, such a harassment over the phone regarding if I don't donate some amount immediately some baby with heart failure would die. When I told the guy that I couldn't completely hear him clearly he started screaming over the phone. I told him to message the details so that I can check the authenticity of his claims, he sent over the website link and you can tell it's a fake and they're scamming people.Can't believe that these people think to blindfold the public in broad daylight.
I request the ethical hacking team to take down their webpage and also inform the government as their using them as a front for scamming people and the CBI to seize all their digital transactions.

Received a similar call from the number - [protected] Asking money for a baby radha, 1yr old suffering from severe burns.. Now NGO Darpan from the website looks like a govt organisation... and when I asked for the website the lady hesitated.

Today[protected] i v received same call(baby burning case), , , they r asking minimum 1000 rs...i[censored] agree to donate don't know where they misused this money... is there any updated website ... which shows list of fraud website.

i have received a call from[protected], requesting amount of 25000 for an injection. initially lady told me that baby got injured by hot oil, while later a guy told me that it was due to hot water. http://indiarehabcentre.org/payu.php, this is the site where they asked me to fill details and donate online. Guy told his name as Avnesh Pal, and injured baby name as Ritika, OPD no 4, ICU ward 5, Bed no-1 surgery time before 2 pm today[protected]

I too got such call and being explained the same point .. thanks for explaining here so that I could find this a fraud firm

I have received a call from Ms.Parul ([protected]) on 11th April 2018 asking me to donate for a girl who was injured severely due to falling of hot oil, she directed me first to ngodarpan.gov.in for donation and later Mr. Anbesh took over and explained me about seriousness of girl's health condition. his version was girl is injured due to falling of hot water. He said girl has undergone five surgeries and further need three more surgeries and asked me to donate Rs.25000/. he called me at 1.35 pm and asked me to donate by 2. pm on the same day. I told him that i have my student viva scheduled at 2 pm and will do after her viva. during viva time i have received call from number [protected] (true caller showed name as Jahangeer Mahaw) i did not lift the phone as student is presenting her viva. he called twice and as i cut his phone he has sent a long message to mobile, cursing me as well as abusing that i did not help. Later again at 3.pm Ms.Parul called and i told her about abusive message of Mr.Jahangeer, she immediately handed phone to him, and he started explaining his version of writing abusive message, unable to tolerate him i cut my phone, he called several times but i did not lift then he messaged me again in abusive language., . Next day i received a message from [protected] again insulting and cursing me for not donating. Later I have received a call from number: [protected], (i did not lift this number as true caller showed name as abusive rascals, somebody already feeded like that) later i recieved call from number [protected] (Abnesh) and but he introduced himself as Krishna Kant and repeated the same version like MR.Jahangeer, that my kids will suffer like that girl as i didnot help the injured girl.

I dont think that problem is with Darpan NGO, but the Fraud organization India Rehab Centre, which was registered under Darpan site, giving impression to the people that it is government organization.

I request Darpan to look into the issue and remove registration of that fraud site from your website., else people think Darpan is cheating people with false cases of child injury.

I am also lodging complaint about those people, Parul, Abnesh, Jahangeeer, Krishnakant with evidences of their messages sent to me.

I got a call from a few different NGOs, this one, Giggle etc..

All are fraud, and they will abuse you if you are not able to help.

And, I think all these are burning the babies deliberately.

I have been getting calls from them for last one year. I have also received abusive sms from them. They have given website as ngodarpan and under that there is Indiarehabcentre. I don't know how they have got these youngsters involved and trained them to start screaming and sending rude sms. I have tried talking to them and explaining but that does not work so now I simply cut the call after saying sorry.

Its unfortunate that i got fooled, this so called fraud NGO Darpan called me and shared pictures of a burnt baby boy which needed immediate attention. So far i haven't received any receipt so i assume i got tricked.

I realised that i was fooled after receiving another call after 15 min from another person crying profusely and saying please make remaining payment of 26, 156, so that the baby is saved. I got suspicious and googled and found this forum and after reading all your comments realized my folly.

While i lost 10k, I will now be very careful in the future. Lesson learnt. My compassion to the child was misused.
