Nikita Enterprises — Fraud Scam

Today I received a letter by post bearing Organic India logo offering a scratch card with a chance to win prize money etc. The letter has been sent from one Nikita Enterprises, 7 Jawahar Lal Nehru Road, Kolkata -700 013. The letter also lists a toll-free number [protected] & website - www.organicindiagift.co.in. It bears the signature of one Mr. Rahul Balaji, Finance Manager. The letter requests sensitive information such as Bank a/c, Aadhaar, PAN details etc. It also has a forged stamp of HSBC Bank (purported to be their banking partner)

As I suspected this to be a phishing/fraud scam, did some basic online search and found that this firm M/s Nikita Enterprises is indulging in such scams targetting customers of other firms as well - Naaptol, Meesho etc (details here https://www.consumercomplaints.in/nikita-enterprises-naaptol-scratch-and-win-sca...⇄)

I have also informed customer care of Organic India about this phishing/fraudulent scam which is being conducted via impersonation. Requested them to take appropriate legal steps and conduct customer awareness programs as it appears that there is a leak of customer database which is being used to specifically target customers.
