Nirmala Hospital, Marikunnu, Calicut — Very poor service to patients by the hospital staff

I was admitted to nirmala hospital, situated in the purview of marikunnu p.o of calicut city, kerala on 27/7/2016 for a surgery on my toe.since the admission was affected on the advice of the senior surgeon of the same hospital on the previous day, the surgery was scheduled at 10.00 am on 20/7/16. we paid the advance surgery amount and other related charges by 9.10 am . on submission of the receipts of the said payments by 9.15 am i was asked by one of the nursing students to wear the surgery gown and get ready for the surgery. since then i was waiting in the ward, wearing the gown, for the concerned staff to take me for surgery. but nobody arrived. by 1.00 pm the surgeon arrived for rounds and seeing me on bed he asked me the reason for not turning up for the surgery and stated that he was waiting for me.

When i told him the reason he fixed the surgery for the same day at 3.00pm. thereafter, we waited till 2.45. noticing that no staff is attending to me, my wife approached a senior nurse who reacted sharply with the excuse that no staff is available to take me for the surgery. at 2.55 pm i personally walked to the nurses station and requested the nurse to take me for the surgery. out of sheer anger she asked me to walk towards the surgery room. the passage to the surgery room had granite stones and i was barefooted as my leg was bandaged and i couldn't wear my chappals.

Even after my surgery, neither the said nurse nor the staff arranged for a wheel chair despite repeated phone calls by one of the surgery staff.when i inquired with the surgery staff and expressing my resentment, after waiting for nearly 30 mins they somehow arranged a wheel chair and was grumbling.

Neither my family nor i have seen such negligence in service in any other hospital. how can they not provide a wheel chair to a a patient whose foot is injured, while taking him for surgery?

To resolve the problem i would like the hospital authorities to explain what happened on that day, why the nurses did not do more for me and why i was not treated properly.
