Nissan (autorelli Nissan - Authorized Service Centre, Nerkundram, Chennai) — Nissan Service Bill Amount and Delay delivery

I, Vijayababu K T, hereby submit this complaint against the above-mentioned service centre for deficiency in service and adoption o[censored]nfair trade practices in relation to my vehicle, Nissan Magnite bearing Registration No: TN10BX1665.

Facts of the Case:
I handed over my vehicle to the Opposite Party on 20th March 2026 for minor body shop work and annual maintenance.
At the time of submission, I was quoted an approximate amount of ?6, 000 for body shop work and ?300 for annual maintenance, which I agreed to.

The repair involved only minor scratches on the passenger door. Based on my previous experience (Severe dents and extensive scratches)
of paying around ?11, 000 for more extensive work, I found the quoted 6000 Rupees reasonable and provided my consent accordingly.

Subsequently, I was presented with a bill of approximately ?12, 000, which is a significant and unjustified increase from the agreed estimate.

Upon questioning the same, I was informed that I need to pay only ?1, 000 and the remaining amount would be covered under insurance. I strongly object to this, as inflating the bill under insurance without my consent is unethical and unacceptable.

Thereafter, the Opposite Party attempted to offer certain accessories (door visors and rear sunshade) as a form of settlement, but later demanded that I pay 50% of the cost for those items, which again reflects inconsistent and misleading conduct.

I clearly instructed the Opposite Party to stop all additional work and to proceed only with the initially agreed scope and cost.

Despite this, I have not received any proper confirmation, final bill alignment, or delivery timeline for my vehicle.

Multiple attempts to contact the service centre and their representatives have failed, demonstrating a complete lack of communication and accountability.

Deficiency in Service
Unfair Trade Practices
Lack of Transparency in Pricing
Unauthorized Inflation of Bills under Insurance Claims
Mental Agony and Inconvenience caused to the Complainant
