We refer to the above policy number and claim numbers which are rejected from NivaBupa Health Insurance without any valid reason. Myself and My wife were under home isolation with advice from our family doctor Dr. Naresh Hemnani (MBBS). We have submitted the advice copy of the doctor and all supporting documents to the insurance company. However the insurance company has not shown any sympathy and humanity to our problem and claims were rejected very brutally. The attitude of the insurance company is highly objectionable and cannot be tolerated under any circumstances. All the medical tests carried on by us and antigen test kits bought by us were as a precautionary measure so as not to spread the disease and we took all the medicines as per advice of our daily doctor.
Kindly Guide us to move towards the consumer court and insurance ombudsman so that we should get the justice with proper penalty should be imposed on insurance company as domiciliary treatment was allowed by the government authorities and it was told by health ministry that we can take the covid treatment at home without getting admitted to the hospital and it is covered under all health insurance policies.
Kindly look into the matter, and get our claim settled as early as possible.
