Nsb Academy Bangalore — Refusing refund

Hi,

I am Yukti. I was admitted to NSB academy last year, but due to my father's health, I could not continue my education.

As per Bangalore university, I informed the faculty well before time, even when the semester started.

I have paid the following amount:

30, 000 for registration.
1, 55, 000 for the first semester.

I've discussed everything at length with the college and asked them for a refund because I did not submit my documents to the university. I left the institute at the beginning of the academic session.

The refund policy, as per AICTE, states that the college is liable to refund the fees either in total or after deducting the cancellation fees. Please find the image attached for your kind perusal. From the official website of NSB academy, I have downloaded the Mandatory Disclosure, which contains the list of students for the academic year[protected]; it is clear that all the seats have been allotted/filled after my withdrawal from the college. All 300 of them. I am attaching the link to the document containing the list of the students enrolled for the academic year[protected] for your reference ( https://www.nsb.edu.in/documents/MANDATORY_DISCLOSURE_NSB_Academy.pdf ), and I can't find my name on the list.

They are refusing to refund my money, stating that their decision is as per AICTE guidelines which are not valid as per my understanding.

This is their reason: "After a long discussion, the BOG could not make a positive decision in the case. This is because, as an AICTE-approved institution, we have to make a decision in view of AICTE guidelines. Otherwise, it will set a different precedent."

Please kindly help me get my refund back from NSB Academy. I have also attached my fee receipts for your reference.
