I am writing to file a formal complaint against NxtWave, an educational institution, for misleading practices that have caused me financial and personal distress. When I enrolled in NxtWave, their representative explicitly assured me, "Yeah, you can quit at any time; there is no problem regarding that." I even confirmed this with their department, and they reiterated, "There is no problem regarding that; you can quit at any time, and the payment afterward will be stopped." Trusting these assurances, my family and I decided to join the program. However, after one year, when I requested to quit due to financial and academic constraints, they refused, citing a policy that was never disclosed during enrollment. This behavior is a complete violation of the assurances they provided and has caused significant distress. I have already communicated my concerns verbally and via email multiple times (3–5 emails), but the institution remains uncooperative. I have video evidence (in Malayalam) that records their representative making the above promises, which substantiates my claim. The urgency of this matter arises because I am unable to continue due to financial hardship and other academic commitments. Additionally, I am being forced to make another payment within the next 2 days, which I cannot afford. I kindly request your immediate intervention to resolve this issue and hold NxtWave accountable for their misleading practices. I seek your assistance in ensuring that I am allowed to exit the program without further payments or penalties. Enclosed are the video evidence and relevant details for your reference.
