I booked 1 bhk flat in mid of 2018 in Om Divine World at sector 115 Kharar Mohali.
They told me to pay 20% in advance and the 80% on possession (they usually tell same conditions to all the visitors which is NOT TRUE).
I was told to get the possession within one year i.e. by mid of 2019.
I paid 30% advance (instead of 20%) and booked the flat.
Just after six months the sales managers of Om Divine World started chasing me like a defaulter with no respect.
They called me repeatedly to come their office with cheque book or cash to pay 20% more. When I asked about work progress then just one sentence from them "Sir, tension mat lo aapko flat is mahine mil jayega".
And that month never come even after years.
After several months harassment they forced me to pay upto 80% of the booked price and at that time there was just outer structure with no interiors work started yet.
In the meantime they also sent me notice (without any reason) that they didn't receive sufficient amount. I provided all the receipts many times to different managers and then they have to agree on it.
Till writing this review as of Feb 2021, (after 3 years) there is still structure with just a slab in kitchen and floor tiles in one room with iron Chaukaths.
Their Managers (Mr. Bajaj) visited my home personally to collect the payment BUT nobody care to talk about the completion of flats.
*their managers keep changing after 6 months or one year so make sure to keep everything in writing from them. Once the old managers will leave the new managers will treat you more rudely.
At present they are just making excused and giving me numbers of different persons of their company to check the progress of my flat's constructions.
it's not about me, I talked with a few other flat owners and all told the same story that they had to fight personally or file legal complaint against the Om Divine World group to get the possession of their flats to save the hard earned money.
Very unprofessional & disappointed experience with Om Divine World Group. I would have easily get approx Rs 60, 000.00 interest annually if deposited the same amount in Fixed Deposit instead of investing in Om Divine world 1 bhk.
I would suggest others not to buy any under constructions flats from any builder and especially from OM DIVINE WORLD GROUP.
