Today I visited Satapada (Puri) along with my family. 6--7 kms before Satapada, a hoarding was placed indicating a narrow road to Dolphin Centre. I met one travel agent who showed me rate chart of boating ranging from 3000 to 7200, issued by Govt of Odisha. I booked a boat for Rs 4600 for my family of six. I learnt later that the rate is actually Rs 1200 and there are no of touts who have been running such false travel agencies for years.
OTDC and police must be aware of this but no action is being taken. Govt should crack down such agencies or ask these agencies to put up actual rate chart in front of their agencies. These touts defame the name of Odisha. Was this information helpful? |
