I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an incident that occurred during my visit to the OWND! store at Nilamber Triumph Mall, Vadodara, Gujarat (contact number: [protected]) on 16 November 2025 in the evening 7:15 PM IST

I entered the store with my wife, and upon entry the security buzzer rang. Neither the staff nor the security personnel took any action at that time. After approximately 30 minutes, we completed our shopping and paid the bill at the counter (Invoice No: S093301I[protected].

At checkout, however, my wife was suddenly stopped due to the same buzzer. The staff began questioning us, and when I asked the security guard why he had not intervened earlier, he had no explanation. The manager insisted on a security check, which was carried out, but nothing was found. Despite this, the staff failed to provide any clear explanation and did not acknowledge that their security system was faulty.

This incident caused unnecessary humiliation in front of other customers, with staff members laughing and bystanders watching. I requested the manager to provide a written statement of the incident so that I could pursue legal action for the mental distress caused. To date, I have not received any communication from the store.

I request that strict action be taken against the staff involved and that measures be implemented to ensure such misconduct and humiliation do not occur again with any customer.
