Booked and payed online for a room with oyo at kolkata, called for address at the number provided in the app however the one who answered said it was wrong number, once we reached the property somehow by asking near by people, the manager there denied to provide us ac room as promised by oyo, instead the property manager started an argument and misbehaved with me and my family stating how we could book room at less amount, tried to explain him it's not us who decided the price it's the app, he denied to understand and continued to argue and threatened us multiple times also by saying he will cancel our booking so we loose our money, we left the property for our safety but he checked us in, though we didn't stay in the property to further harass us. The same we have complained to oyo customers service but they were unable to cancel our booking and asked to wait until its check out time, it was totally a scam by the hotel and action is required to further stop them from scamming people. We are from Assam and my father in law is detected with cancer, we are here for treatment it was a nightmare and we will further fear to book online with oyo with if there is no action taken against such scammers.
