Oyo 65238 Hotel Crystal Stay Bhubaneswar — Regarding 1 extra day payment

I booked room at Oyo 65238 crystal stay bhubaneswar from 31 March to 4 April.But later due to change in my plans i modified my booking and planned to check out on 3 rd... neither I got a message from Oyo or the hotel that my booking for April 4 th was cancelled...If got a message or mail from Oyo or the hotel, i would have checked out on 3 rd..so I thought my stay was still present till 4 April.. Finally i checked out on 3 rd April at 3 pm by paying one full day payment for those extra 4 hours of stay...so I paid totally 4 days payment prior booking amount to Oyo and 1 day payment to hotel for those extra 4 hours of stay...is this justified???
