Ladies sitting in the ground floor is with full make up but no help! They are disturbed when they see Non Tamilian coming for passport even if the passport office is India Government's. They are making the passport requesters life horrible by giving unnecessary instructions, I went with my two kids for tatkal passport and ladies asked me to go multiple times to upstairs for application process but I had seen they were giving instructions to a few families to go together and get all applications at once.
Another comedy part is one lady was telling "3 tatkals in one day.. haa"
I paid money for Tatkal to government and I reached there with full documents for verification.
Another interesting part is those ladies didn't accept my sons school id card but I was ok on that decision until she was accepting another big family's docs, Their kids didn't have a single id and their mother didn't have a single correct address proof. Goddamn it!
All these are gone and am still waiting for my kids passport and I got to know that its in police verification status from last week..
I applied Tatkal and am still waiting from June first week:) I strongly believe that the ladies sitting ground floor should change their attitude and approach towards Indian Citizens. I renewed passport multiple times once in Chennai main branch and didn't face such issue that time. Was this information helpful? |
