It all started in Jun’16 when we contacted Shalabh Bhargava of Pearl Adventure for Leh - Ladakh bike trip. It was planned from Aug 1st 2016 for nearly 14 days and cost was 60K per pax. We as a group (4 guys) signed up for this immediately considering this is a well-managed professional firm. We paid full money (60K per pax – 2.4 Lacs in total) in advance and started dreaming about bike ride. Then things came to halt due to unrest in Kashmir. Our tour was planned from Manali to Leh to Srinagar so Mr. Shalabh tried to alter the route to Manali to Leh and back to Manali. However, not sure why he didn’t get enough numbers and this whole tour canceled and we were given an assurance of full refund within 90 days as per their company policy.
Now, it has been a year and we are still waiting to get our full refund. We got some money after lot of rigorous follow up and still lot to come. The firm so called which is only driven by Mr. Shalabh had stopped responding to our calls / messages / whatsapp and doesn’t seem to be in a mood to return our money. We had never thought of getting so unprofessional behavior / treatment from Pearl Adventure. Was this information helpful? |
