This website looks exactly like the official Periyar National Park website, and there was no clear mention anywhere that it’s a private travel agency — not even during the payment process or at the end of the booking.
I booked a Periyar boat safari from this site thinking it was official. They charged me ₹470 per person for 5 people (₹2, 420 total), while the official Periyar Tiger Reserve website charges only ₹255 per person.
Even the ticket PDF they sent clearly shows ₹255 per person, proving how misleading their pricing is. After sending me the ticket on WhatsApp, the person stopped answering my calls and refused any refund, saying it’s “non-refundable.”
Their small note about being a “private agency” is hidden at the very bottom of the page in tiny letters, which is clearly meant to mislead people. Was this information helpful? |
