Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (pcmc) — Urgent Complaint Regarding Stray Dogs and Public Safety in Ganesh Nagar, Colony No. 14, Bopkhel

I am writing to lodge a complaint regarding the increasing problem of stray dogs in Ganesh Nagar, Colony No. 14, Bopkhel, Pune, Maharashtra.

The presence of stray dogs in our locality is causing concern among residents. There are safety concerns about dogs chasing two-wheelers, barking aggressively, and potentially chasing or attacking pedestrians. This situation is particularly worrying for children, senior citizens, and people travelling through the area.

I request the concerned authorities to conduct an inspection of Colony No. 14 and take appropriate action in accordance with applicable animal welfare rules and public safety guidelines. Kindly arrange for the responsible handling of the stray dog situation to prevent possible injuries and ensure the safety of residents.

I request that this complaint be treated seriously and that necessary action be taken at the earliest. Please also inform us about the steps taken to resolve this issue.
