Dear Policybazaar Support,

I purchased an HDFC ERGO Optima Secure Health Insurance Policy (Policy No. [protected]) through Policybazaar using my HDFC Credit Card because your platform offered an 18-month 0% Easy EMI facility.

However, HDFC Bank is now charging EMI interest on my credit card.

When I contacted HDFC Bank, they informed me that the 0% Easy EMI was a merchant-sponsored offer and that the interest subsidy was to be provided by Policybazaar.

If Policybazaar has already passed the interest subsidy to the Bank, kindly provide documentary proof. If not, please immediately arrange for the interest subsidy or refund the applicable amount, as the purchase was made solely based on the advertised 0% EMI offer.

Kindly investigate this matter jointly with HDFC Bank instead of asking the customer to coordinate between two organizations.

If this issue is not resolved within 7 days, I will be compelled to approach the National Consumer Helpline, the Insurance Ombudsman (if applicable), the RBI Integrated Ombudsman (against the bank), and the Consumer Commission for deficiency in service and misleading advertisement.

I look forward to your prompt resolution.
