Ponnarimangalam Toll Plaza — Toll exemption for defence personnel

Dear sir/madam,
My name is Suraj Kumar Tiwari and I am serving at the rank of Lieutenant in Indian Navy .I wish to to bring to your kind attention about a violation of GOI orders by Ponarimangalam Toll Plaza, Section -Kalamassery to ICTT Valarpad, Kerela. On 30 Jul 20, while I was transiting through the toll plaza, I was asked for toll, wherein I produced my defence I card for the exemption as per GOI directives. But the toll staff and the toll manger though acknowledging my identity refused to exempt my vehicle HP 63D 1302 .He said that the toll collection at the toll is reduced because of the present situation and also we have been directed to collect toll from everyone to increase our revenue. Thus, clearly indicating of the monopoly and arbitration at the plaza. Upon showing the relevant GOI/policy letter he chose to ignore and said we are not aware of such directives and haven't recieved such directives. He also wasted 1 hr of our time over arguing on this issue.
In view of the above it is requested that appropriate action may be taken against the toll plaza manger/incharge so that such monopoly by such toll incharge may end.
Also the amount charged may be refunded to my account.
