I hired Porter Packers and Movers for relocation services under Order No. PNM53078700, and the experience has been extremely distressing, both financially and emotionally.

Key Issues:
Unprofessional Vendor & Staff:

The assigned partner was rude, used abusive language (calling me “fraudster, ” “murkh”), and forced workers to stop work until payment was made, even when 80% of the payment was already cleared as per guidelines.

One of the workers (Rakesh) was particularly disruptive and refused to lift listed heavy items, which resulted in me leaving behind two large plants, pots, swing seater (~30kg), and other valuable items.

Negligence & Loss of Property:

Despite sharing a detailed item list, the team messed up the truck estimate, causing my items to be left behind or dumped without care.

I even paid ₹7, 000 extra for 5 additional cartons, but the issue persisted.

Damaged & Missing Items – ₹35, 000 Loss:

I've submitted photo evidence and a loss estimate of ₹35, 000 under Porter’s Multi-Layer Packing Insurance (₹2, 00, 000 coverage).

However, there has been no official response from Porter after one initial call from their damage control team. No updates, no inspection, and no refund process initiated till now.

My Demands:
Immediate response and processing of the ₹35, 000 insurance claim.

Apology and accountability for the vendor’s behavior.

Partial refund or compensation for the services not rendered despite full payment.

Assurance that such vendors and workers are not assigned to future customers.

This experience has left me financially burdened and emotionally disturbed. I expected better from a reputed company like Porter. I am filing this complaint as a last resort after being ignored repeatedly.
