Pradnya Lote (what people say) is an Occupational Therapist for Children who suffer with mild to severe autism. She gave the appointment after a lot of follow-up and references of the Doctors who (wrongly) advised us to approach her. She charged us Rs. 800/- on the first visit, but she was very discouraging, highly non-co-operative, very rude and nasty. Probably she believe she has come from out of the world, whereas I dont think she has any standard by any means! After charging the hefty amount with no corresponding advises except discouraging comments, she said she would call back for giving appointments. Although not happy, I thought of avoiding controversy with my wife. With several follow-ups, she dint respond to calls or SMS - probably thinking that she is more busy than Barack Obama. If she had no intention to give the appointments, why did she start the session by charging Rs. 800/-. If she is busy, she should not provide the consulting time. I have heard, of late, that she has the habit of giving the first appointment, taking the hefty fees for utter nonsense advise and then neglecting the parents. Probably her income comes from first cheating meeting with the innocent parents and thereafter probably she does not have the capacity to cure the child, she ends up avoiding them. People must avoid such irrational advisors! These are the comments based on my own practical experience. Was this information helpful? |
