I was looking for part time jobs online and i came across a job where i was supposed to fill up a 1000 forms in 10 days. However, there was a technical issue and i couldn't log in. They also made me sign a contract where i'm to pay 5200 in case i cannot complete the work. I repeatedly called the lady who assigned this work to me and i also sent them emails. Nobody got back to me. Infact, the helpline number was always busy and the lady switched off her phone to ignore my calls. And after 10 days they started sending me threats telling me that i have to deposit 5200 in the company's bank account. The supposed lawyer threatened me and told me that he'll see me in the court. And later he told me that i have to deposit rs. 12940/- in the account by 1:00 p. M. I didn't deposit the amount. I received another email from another lawyer of prosol company stating that i have to pay them rs. 8200/-. They're also accusing me of a criminal offence. Was this information helpful? |
