Prudential Packers and Movers — Poor service

I have suffered at the hands of these cheaters and fraudsters who come in the guise of gentlemen. I used their service to move my stuff from mumbai to bangalore. The owner raj sharma is all gentleman calling several times, sending his supervisor to check the items and making tall promises that the stuff will be packed using a 3 layer packing so nothing will get damaged . But there ends the story.

You are asked to pay the entire amount in advance, found others take bigger part payment on reaching the destination. Once the stuff was packed and loaded i was told it will reach bangalore in 3-4 days. Never in my wildest dreams did i imagine the condition it would reach in. The delivery people first created problem asking my sis to make arrangements for some people to unload the stuff. When they reached the venue they demanded rs 1000 for unloading. My sis refused and called me, to clarify about payment. I informed what i was told full payment has been made nothing to be given. Spoke to raj sharma about it and he spoke to his people after which they just dumped all the stuff on the road in front of the building and left. Luckily my bro-in-law was able to make arrangement and get some men from a nearby construction site.

The truck then proceeded to deliver the balance stuff at my niece’s destination and there too same story they just dumped the stuff on the road helped them keep the fridge inside and left. My niece and her husband had to carry the stuff inside. The movers were supposed to also unpack the big stuff but that too was not done. My niece and husband unpacked the stuff and were in for a shock. The stuff packing had been ripped off in many places and damaged. The backside of the fridge was badly scrapped, the front door smashed in and small scratches and dents all over the fridge. The 5 door storage cupboard has badly broken and beyond use. Immediately called raj and informed him and he asked to take pics and send.

I immediately asked my sis tocheck her stuff too the next morning as it was delivered past 10 in the night. Here too the bookcase glass was broken, 5 door storage cupboard broken beyond repair, crockery cupboard damaged, single seater sofa wooden arms had a dent in it as if someone had hit it with something heavy. Informed raj and also sent the pics he promised someone would come to survey and that the end of the story. It’s a week now and he is not attending my calls, sent him whatsapp msg which he has read and couldn’t care to respond. Don’t know how they are running their business, is there no legal compliance for running a business? I would formally like to raise a complaint so these rogues are brought to justice.


Moral of the story : never use prudential packers and movers, they are cheats and thieves. They are not trustworthy.
