Extremely Disappointing Experience – Poor Communication and Unresolved Refund
My name is Anish, and I am currently located in Canada. I was looking for assistance in obtaining transcripts for my wife's certificate evaluation. One of my friends recommended a person named Kunal, so I contacted him on December 7, 2024, on his phone number +[protected]. I still have the WhatsApp conversations as proof.
On the same day, I shared all the required certificate documents with him. However, he took until January 6, 2025, just to confirm whether he would be able to process the request or not. The most frustrating part was that he rarely answered phone calls. Later, he informed me that his colleague, Mr. Syed, would be handling the process.
After that, there were no meaningful updates. My messages and calls were mostly ignored, and I struggled to get any information about the status of the application.
In September 2025, Kunal contacted me again and asked me to resend the certificate documents. Since we did not have any other contacts and because he had been recommended by a friend, we decided to give him another opportunity and shared the documents again.
On September 8, 2025, he sent me a screenshot of a courier shipment and stated that everything was ready. He then asked me to make the payment. I paid ₹17, 000, and I have records of the transaction. The payment was made to the number [protected].
After receiving the payment, I repeatedly followed up with him for the shipment reference number or tracking details. Unfortunately, he did not respond to my messages or calls. At one point, he assured me that the documents would be delivered to WES within 15 days, but that never happened.
On November 18, 2025, he asked me to check my email. When I checked, there was no communication from WES. As a result, my wife's WES account expired for the second time, and we had to renew it again based on the assurances we had been receiving.
During this process, I became increasingly concerned about the documents and information being shared with me. I repeatedly requested a refund because there was no visible progress on the work, but my messages continued to be ignored. Since I do not have anyone in Pune who could follow up in person, I was completely dependent on his responses.
After calling him more than 30+ times on one occasion, he finally answered the phone. Instead of providing a solution, he spoke to me in an unprofessional manner and promised that he would return my money within two days. Numerous other conversations took place during this period, which I cannot fully describe here.
Nearly 20 days later, he returned only ₹1, 000, while the remaining amount is still outstanding according to my records. When I informed him that I was considering filing a complaint, he shared contact details that he claimed belonged to police officers, including PSI Dafal (Pune), PSI Moradiya, PSI Mukesh (Crime), and PSI Satya. I personally felt intimidated by these actions rather than receiving assistance in resolving the matter.
Based on my experience, I was left with significant delays, financial loss, stress, and repeated follow-ups without satisfactory results. I would strongly advise anyone considering this service to exercise caution, verify all claims independently, insist on proper documentation and tracking information, and ensure that refund terms are clearly defined before making any payment.
As I am unable to travel to Pune to pursue the matter in person, I am proceeding with filing an online complaint regarding my experience. My primary concern is not the money itself but the lack of professionalism, transparency, accountability, and the prolonged difficulties I have faced over the course of this process.
