[Resolved]  Punjab Kesari — irresponsible and non factual journalism

sir, I am a Government dental Officer in Himachal Pradesh government posted at Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital Kandror, Distt Bilaspur. I am deeply hurt mentally and socially because of a news item which your esteemed newspaper published on 15/05/2014 in Bilaspur Kesari, the link to which i have given ahead. http://epaper.punjabkesari.in/epaperimages/1552014/1552014-md-blp-2s.jpg Sir, this highly irresponsible reporter of yours has given a vague news without any specifics which is not the way i have known Punjab Kesari journalism is, since my childhood. I have been receiving calls from friends and sundry who are enquiring and enjoying that this incident took place at my dental hospital ( which is factually wrong as nothing of the kind happened at my set up). It is tarnishing my image as a dental surgeon. Sir, your reporter just writes that " jila key ek sarkari haspatal mein', and reports it from Kandror. This is giving inference of this negligent event happening in Kandror, which is my work place and indicating falsly that i am that negligent dentist. Sir, i request your good self to take to task such irresponsible journalist of yours who are tarnishing your news paper's image as well as innocent people like me without any fault of ours. I ask your good self for an unconditional apology from the reporter concerned and a corigendum in Bilaspur Kesari with specifics of the hospital where it took place and the dentist involved. Failing it i shall have to resort to legal options to get the things clarified and restore my reputation which senior people like you may understand is only thing which matters to a honest doctor.
