On 28th Feb 2024 morning around 11.10 a.m, I attempted to contact your customer care number to address a concern. However, to my surprise, I received a callback from a number claiming to be a customer care representative o[censored]rban Clap. The individual who contacted me identified himself and insisted on a visiting charge of Rs 50. When I expressed my willingness to pay in cash, he declined and instead directed me to pay via Paytm, providing a link through WhatsApp with the number +91 [protected].
Regrettably, I fell victim to this scam, and to my shock, I later discovered unauthorized activity on my credit card, which they had initiated. I have promptly filed a complaint with the cyber cell to address this fraudulent activity. However, I believe it is crucial for Urban Clap to be aware of these incidents to prevent further harm to your customers.
