I purchased a high back-office chair online from Reliance JioMart. It was delivered on 6 October 2024 with shipment ID[protected]W-01.
I open the package immediately to find that 50% of the parts (swivel base with wheels, airlift cylinder, hardware, etc) were missing. I called them same day, sent a text msg with description of what was missing and filed the complaint for the refund. They replied with the complaint ticket number[protected] informing me that they are processing refund. I was sent a link to send the phots and videos of the products next day. I took photos and video and send it back. Since then, they keep sending me fake text msg for pick up for 35 days! Each day when one came I made a comment that they are liars. Besides, in apartment complex I live in, any time any visitor comes to see me, security ask for my permission followed by a txt msg who was allowed to visit me. I have called them over 20 times, they keep lying, cheating, deceiving. They keep sending generic msg of no value at all to resolve the issue to refund my money and pick the junk merchandise taking up my apartment space since past 4 months!
See attached video I sent to them. Now they are denying that they never received any photos and video! They are asking me to send it. If I did, 4 month later, they might tell me same lie that they never received it.
I hope consumer should learn from this experience not to purchase any products from Reliance JioMart and its sister companies. May go destroy them for aggravating and wasting my time, energy and money!
