Hi, I got call from this number requesting donation for a child's treatment. Initially I was convinced after visiting website and listening to the story, but thought of cross checking and came across the complaints. Looks like fraudulent call.

Received call on 19-Aug-2014 asking to help a baby in Delhi with some hospital treatment. I asked them to mail me the details and would check. Next day, received call once again to ask whether I have done the donation. I had seen the mail and account numbers provided and thought of doing online transfer later on. But the person started insisting on using their website only for the transfer which got me suspicious. Since I already had other venues of donation done and i had doubts about the authenticity of this organization, I decided to wait before contributing. Thats when the emotional blackmail sms's started. "baby needs your help. please dont give any fake hope." "have you done something for the baby or not"...and so on. After logging on this forum, came to know more about such type of fake calls. Have also logged a complaint against this number with service provider. Hoping some action is taken. The number from which I received call was "+91 [protected]". Thanks, Bhakti

I even got a call from the same number and was asked to donate for the 2 yr old child Pratigya Kumari who is suffering from cancer. Initially one lady picked the call and she requested hard for the donation. They she gave the call to a guy . I didn't remember the name as I was more concerned about the case of the child. They even gave the description of the child and the prescription from the doctors. She is getting treated at AIMS. I constantly asked them about the treatment cost and how are they managing. They said there are lot people who are donating and even there are two docs who are bearing the child treatment cost. He said this is one final chemo needs to be given to the child and needed immediate help. They even said the treatment being very expensive AIMS have even supported them with the relaxation on the medicine cost. I really get involved in these kind of benevolent act and donated Rs 2047. He was initially asking for approx Rs 9000 but agreed upon Rs 2047. And he hand over the phone to the lady who called be initially. She even said I will get receipt and 80 G certificated which I can produce for tax benefit. I even gave lots of my contact details to her so that the child can get at least some help. But now I read the review and I am confused whether they are actually fake or true. I agree if they make us fool they are damping the spirit of persons who highly wants to support society in such a way.
Even I Got the same call for Pratigya Kumari. nos are [protected], [protected]
I got the same call today from [protected]...not sure if they are trust worthy...they said they are short of 65000 for the girls chemo..and they need money urgently by today evening as they girl needs to undergo operation/treatment today.
I got a call today, same thing which all you guys have mentioned about the same 2 year old girl. Same money, everything.

The person who called is "Sunitha Rani" and the number she called from is [protected].

The emergency which was depicting was amazing! I told her clearly that if she keeps forcing me, then I won't donate, not that I'm cold hearted, but I wanted to cross check on the internet like this forum.

Thanks for the alert, I'm not going to donate.
Today morning I got a call from [protected] from Somebody named "Sanjay" and same story about a Girl named "PRATIGYA KUMARI".

Not sure whether it's a fake call or what...bit confused after reading all the comments...but anyway Thanks for the alert.
Today i got a call for the same girl called pratigya Kumari - 2 years suffering from Cancer and needs the final dose of chemo. The guy who called was Rahul Tyagi - [protected]. Also said her father is a poor farmer so they have started calling people for help. He was forcing to make the payment immediately but i said i am busy jut to cross check about this.

Seriously these cheap people are playing with human feelings... i think one fine day this will effect the real suffers. Shame on you people!!!
I too got a call for the Pratigya kumari name and for some injection fees, they asked me to donate 1525/- and I did that within few minutes and gave him the transaction id. now I get 4-5 calls everyday from relief india trust and brambedkar trust. thanks for informing on internet. I was about to donate again for a baby named madhu kumari. Its good that i googled it.
They are clearly fake. Just say it on their face, that u r going to file a complaint for harassing on mobile, they will run away.

I have been recieving calls from number[protected] from a person named Wasim He started calling me continously. I asked him to send me details over email. I've never got the details over email about the organisation. I googled about the Relief Trust India and found out about the scam. These people are really . I am already associated with a NGO and so I am aware how NGO's work for getting donations for needy children. This guy called me and told me about how a 2 year old girl is suffering from blood cancer and how she needs urgent help.

My question to them - If the girl needs urgent help why do you want to ask help from people who are reluctant to help instead invest your time to get money from the relevant people. Actually these guys are fraud. One cannot force anyone to donate and if you do not wish to donate send threatening messages about how God will punish you and all.I mean look who is talking.

I got a call (No.[protected]) from a person who represented him as a member of relief india trust. He was trying to save a child named Pratigya Kumari who is fighting with blood cancer and she is in very critical condition nearing to death. Need an operation immediately which costs expensive. So they need my financial support for operation before 04.30. p.m. today. They asked me how much i will donate and forced me to login immediately with their link for payment through credit / debit card / net banking. They asked for type of browser usage to see that child's face. I had a doubt on his talk and searched for this trust name which is genuine or not. But absolutely i found what i thought. It is a fradulent case. Please dont believe such phone calls and respond them. My kind request to government. Please take action stop such dramatic fraudulents.
I also received a call from the same number on 14th. I disconnected the call as soon as I heard we need your help
and the strange thing is he knew my name. I wonder from where did he get my number from.
I donated three times for Relief India Trust and I got receipts and 80G certificates too. I am going to file income tax returns and want to mention donations made to Relief India Trust in the same. Does it make any sense ?
I am getting calls from them from yesterday for Pratigya Kumari. I was ready to pay initially but their donate button wasn't working at that time. So I messaged them that I am not able to pay and need help today morning. Call me at 11 AM.
But then I read online reviews and didn't pay. Since then they started calling me every half an hour for paying. I don't know if they are fake or real but real organizations dont bother someone to this extent. I am getting continuous calls since morning from Vikas Jain.
i too am getting calls for same case.. In fact on reading this, I decided to do some of my own checking before deciding whether to pay or not. On request I have got an email mentioning complete case history of Pratigya Kumari along with doctor details and everything. I am still confused if this is indeed a fraudulent organization or if the money will indeed go to the right cause.
yes, I too recevied for same person from relief India trust, calling sending messages...initially thought its genuine and donate once last month. they again called this month and asking for donation...too bad that this is fraud NGO and even killing the will of people to donate and pushing them into confusion. Government should take serious act on this, otherwise real needy will not get correct support
Since last July 1st week i am receiving calls from the same number mentioned above from a person named Arati, she seems very concerned about the surgery of a child named Pratigya who is suffering from a kind of cancer, whose treatment is very expensive. I am totally perplexed to witness such kind of desperation from such an NGO member to collect donations. The current thread discussions seems on the same patient/issue.Can anybody please help me to confirm how true is the cause??
I even got a call from the same number and was asked to donate for the 2 yr old child Pratigya Kumari who is suferring from cancer. I GOT A CALL FROM SAME NUMBER... AS I REFUSED HE SAID ONCE THE DISEASE WILL COUGHT YOUR CHILD YOU WILL DONATE..

              WONDERFUL...

WHAT A GREAT NGO AND GREAT VOULENTEERS...
Today i received a call for the same patient - Pratigya Kumari and they told the same problem of the kid and to transfer Rs. 1260 for an injection which has to be done within next few hours. I told them currently am busy and can do later but he insisted to donate in a hour. After reading these reviews, blocked the number from my phone...I could not believe this organization / group.
Got a call from the number [protected] regarding final chemo treatment that has to happen today for the same patient, Pratigya Kumari. Pretty much same as all the above cases. These so called NGOs are becoming worse than tele-marketers.
I got a call from [protected] reg the same patient, saying it's her last set of injections and had to be given today itself. They asked me to pay the money right now! Checked the documents which they were so proudly showing off on their website.. The date of her admission to hospital was somewhere in April, her test dates were somewhere in feb, march.. felt dubious! I seriously wonder if they've got old hospital documents or something. And now checking all of the above comments.. I feel sad.. very sad..
Except for the altitude shown by the volunteers there is nothing in these comments to indicate that this website is fraud ..they gave a UID which is searchable in ngo.gov.in :- DL/2014/0081349 . The fact that they are spamming the mobile with calls and messages is the only issue being raised here but nothing is present in ANY argument to indicate it is fraud . This Pratigya Kumari injection story is being used as per many comments from July onwards - I got a call today in October 28th for same, not sure if it is true and varying amounts have been told to different people on how much has been collected - someone has been told 1.8 L for this child has been collected, I was told today it is just 1.15 Lakhs . Is short this organization is suspicious but it is registered in ngo.gov.in with address as follows :- Relief India Trust, Plot No-Z148, Near Khera Gas Agency, KH.No 28/1, Ground Floor, Prem Nagar, Phase 4, Block-Z, Najafgarh, New Delhi-110043
I got a call from the number - [protected] - Relief trust . the same ngo and they gave me the ID 81349 . Its registered in ngo.gov.in . However, after reading all this even I felt suspicious about this ngo . God knows where all our money is going by donating this way. The best option is to provide food directly to a beggar or child.

" Please find below an urgent and critical case of Master Shivam who is only 2.1 years old struggling for his life at AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) suffering from a life threatening congenital Defect of Hole in Heart who is the only child to his blind parents. "

I donated Rs.1000 . Hope it gets used for the right cause.
Got a call from Mission Heal now almost on the same grounds as explained above.
Some people earn on the name of sufferers too. In the name of same patient they may collect amount and say that is being utilised for so and so patient. But who know their internal affairs. Even though it is a registered trust how can we be sure about the use of our funds to the right purpose or not. It is all about believing or not believing people. This situation arise because we are seeing number of Hitech Frauds committed in the name of charity. My sincere suggestion is to spare some time visit the said hospital your self or through your friend then after completely satisfying only donate. If some thing suspicisou arise there lodge a policie compliant immediate and post here because we should not allow a wrong plant to grow in the society which will killy the belief of donors for geniune cause.
I got a call yesterday by some neelam about a girl from moradabad village who is suffering from cancer and she needs immediate help. I asked her to mail me the details about her and i will study and revert you back. After checking google about this trust I found many articles about them that they are forcing people to donate and its their moral responsibility and stuff like that.
First of all how did they get my number, they know my name; how come they didnt know that i am on DND and that no one can call me for such things?
I decided not to donate, she was calling me today morning to from the same number from which she called yesterday [protected]. Does anyone knows about this number??
Just now I got a call from some other number a man named saurav or saurabh [protected] asking my name. I said yes what do you want. he said my colleague called you yesterday, I simply said buddy I am not interested; he then started shouting saying what's the reason; I said i don't want to. He raised his voice more. I said boss first mellow your voice how can you shout on me. I am not your bloody servant to answer. He started arguing that even he is not my servant. I said i know you are not but you called me. why the hell are you calling me then.
He yelled its people like you who don't donate and i am volunteer and i can yell on anyone.

I just hung up saying i researched on google that you are a bloody fraud trust. People don't donate to such fraud trust. I don't understand how can they literally beg. I understand that people should donate but how can they force anyone???

Please beware of such crooks, con in our educated world... I consider them no less then a beggar who sits at any junction only difference is these are educated beggars.

              Shame on such people.
I got a call (No.[protected]) from a person who represented him as a member of relief india trust. I also got into their trap recently. :( What's the solution.
This way genuine NGO's will also not get donations because we won't trust them also.
I also got into their trap recently. :( What's the solution.

              FRAUD and nothing else . . .
It is understood that these so called volunteers visit AIIMS and other hospitals and look out for genuine poor children / patients whose parents are unable to pay for operations or medical bills. And by promising help they gather the patient's details and copies of their medical investigations.
And the innocent parents/relatives of the child /patient provide these volunteers all the details of patient with a hope of getting some help.
Now these volunteers upload these details on their website and make panic calls to unsuspecting prospective donors to ask for donations and provide their bank details for money transfer.
But they never give contact details of patients or their parents/guardians for the donors to check with the patients whether they actually received any help.
And finally after collecting all the donations these volunteers never turn up to the patient for help.
And they keep using the patient's information to keep fooling the innocent donors for a long time
              So never believe these volunteers.
They have floated an NGO which only maintains bank accounts for collecting donors money and a few volunteers (girls for making panic calls). They only cheat donors to cough up the money which is never spent on any patient.
DO NOT DONATE OR ENCOURAGE THESE ELEMENTS

Its a fake call. I got a call from [protected] and he told me that his name was Paras, doing Bcom from some Delhi University. Though later on he said that he is pursuing CA and bunked his class to make these calls. He told me about a medical case in AIIMS and said that for medication they need money. He told me to open the site with URL www.reliefindiatrust.org. Luckily my sister is a doctor in AIIMS and when i ask him to give me the number of the doctor handling the case he just disconnected the call.

But i'm still confused whether i should make a contribution or not what if this guy is telling the truth, what if that kid really needs help ...

In last few days got so many calls of Cancer patient kids admitted in AIIMS Delhi. This time some Monica Ali called about some kid having cancer just few minutes back and I questioned how she got my number, she had no answer. I tried searching web and there seems lots of people who got duped by such emotional blackmails. Please do not get carried away by such calls, I am surprised that how come so many calls are coming off late from different numbers about child ill-health and so and so forth.

Guys please ask fir their NGO registration and 80G registration numbers and see what is their response. This sort of emotional appeal has become a trend these days to do fraudulent activities. KEEP YOUR MIND OPEN.

I got a call from the same Trust today from the number [protected]. the lady who called me introduced herself as Vidhi and without even giving me details of the trust started aggressively asking for money for a little Girl child suffering from leukemia. I smelled something foul so asked her about the website details and told her that will go through the website and will donate. and hung up..

I immediately received a couple of SMSes from the same asking whether I have made the donation or not and how important it is etc etc. But she accidentally put her name as Vidhi Jain in one of the SMS and Vidhi Modi in the other one.

I now see hundreds of complaints about this in the consumer forum and am sure that this is definitely a fraud.

Please all Read carefully ... These guys are fake . These guys are operating in different names in different time spans . I found out through my investigation that these guys are fake . Please dont get emotional fools and donate . They are very clever and intelligent people . their modus operand is beyond our imagination . How did i find out ? i got call from a lady and she told taht there is a child suffering from cancer etc etc and gave the website info to verify . She was in so hurry taht she asked me to make donation right away . I cut the call and googled . I read from many that it is a fake .And few people told they are genuine. Again i called taht number and that lady started all over again .She forgot that she spoke to me few misn ago:) I asked the Dr name and Hospital . She told some dr and AIMS hospital Delhi. I called the hospital and find out that the patients are indeed original but not fake . But they dont have association with Relief india or other NGO's . All the docs in the website like the bills precsrioption, diagnosis are original . these people somehow scan and put the original papers and start collecting money . Very clever modus operandi ...Looks like hospital people are also involved In short guys don't donate to this

I have been getting calls from Relief India Trust since a few days badgering me to 'please' make a donation for a little boy who needs medical help. On searching online, I found this and other complaint forums with people complaining of similar situations. When I asked the caller where she got my number from, she said someone in Delhi came for a blood donation camp and must have given my number. I don't even know anyone in Delhi. She was evasive and could not answer any questions in a straightforward manner and kept ranting about this child who is going to die without my help. I am not sure about the veracity of their claims, but on reading multiple other complaints online, I am reluctant to trust Relief India Trust.

Yesterday I received a call from Relief India Trust. I was told by the girl that she received my contact number from the references put up on the form by a Blood donor who donated blood in a camp in Mumbai. The phone was then handed over to a so called co-volunteer, who asked me to logon-to the website to make the transaction and explained me the procedure. As I was in the office and as my Manager wanted to speak to me, I said I'll do it later. But the guy who explained me the process was insisting that I do it right away as it would hardly take time inspite of knowing that my office people wanted to speak to me at that very moment. I told them I will do it the next day through offline mode of transfer. They said they will confirm the bank details through SMS. Accordingly, they sent me the details this morning and were constantly following up for the donations untill I go to the bank and pay up and they remembered my name very well. Soon after that, when I tried to call the girl again to ask for the receipt of payments, the girl asked me "who's this". After giving her my name and asking for the receipt, I was told that the receipt will be sent within 24 hours. Some things I really found strange here: 1) How come the volunteers are so willingly calling up and messaging people through their cell numbers without being bothered about with their bills would go upto. It clearly looked like their cell-phone bills were completely taken care of. 2) When the volunteer knew that I was at work and was being called by my senior, why was he so insistent that I leave my official work aside and make the donation. As per my observation, the volunteers don't insist so-much upon getting donations. After depositing the amount in their bank account, when I came online, I was shocked to see the reviews of this trust (or should I say this so called trust). This NGO is not officially registered, which I figured out upon performing a search on http://ngo.india.gov.in . This clearly is a fraud.

The Patient's name and his/her credentials are generally true but these people from so called NGOs never transfer money to the needy patients but only use their name to get money. Such people should be prosecuted and brought to law.

If one is really eager to donate money they should call AIIMS authorities and DIRECTLY transfer money in patient's account.

Please don't get fooled by such filthy people.

Total scam. A fraud trust which plays the trick of emotional blackmail. Do not get deceived by their "Sympathizing phone calls" as if they are the only saviors of the needy. I'll share my own experience towards the end of this comment. Before that some facts : 1) Firstly they are not a registered NGO. Any registered NGO can be validated in the indian government website http://ngo.india.gov.in They are not registered, hence you won't find any NGO registration number in their website. 2) When they are not a registered NGO, they cannot claim to provide tax exemption under Under Section 80 G. But you'll notice in their website that they claim donations given to them are exempted from 80G. Now my experience : I got a call from so-called-student volunteer named "Rakhi" from a number +91-[protected]. I'm at Chennai and i get a call from Noida person at 3:25PM stating my name and city correctly. After she introduces herself and the trust, she pitches into pleading mode asking me to be a life savior of a child who needs urgent money for his treatment. She says every day they go to hospital at 3:30PM to hand-over the money, so she insists me to pay me immediately as the time is close to 3:30PM. She says all that before even i express my interest to donate. She was in such a hurry to show me their website in-order to prove their organization's legitimacy. My obvious first question was how did she get my number for which the response is "through sources". If they are so legitimate, why can't they reveal what source it is? She wanted me to check the site right away when she is on the line. when i check the site, the first thing i notice is, there is no NGO registration number anywhere on the site. Even if they had one, i would have validated it in the indian government's site. So i end the call saying "i am not interested as i'm already committed to other NGOs locally at chennai ". Thats it, she becomes furious and starts the emotional blackmail saying "Shame on you, Shame on you" repeatedly. Why the HELL should i donate to such a trust who can't take a simple NO, NOT INTERESTED reply.

Even I am receiving calls frequently to donate the amount to a sick child Ravi, admitted in AIIMS, Delhi. The NGO needs some 2 lacs for the treatment. Everyday they call from some new no. [protected], [protected], [protected], etc...I think some action must be taken to stop this nuisance...

                                Aradhana Jha
I am also a recipient of their frequent calls. Am not sure whether they are genuine. They have given me copy of their
80 G order from Income Tax Department. Had donated last year to them. Don't think, I shall do so in future.

                                Manish
There are frauds, i too received a call([protected]) stating that only 50, 000 INR is required for surgery of a child and i should pay at least 1000 INR to help the child.
I too got a call asking to save a baby of 18 months. Initially i accepted and did a transfer of 500 to it. The transaction was failed. When they call me next time, I tried and its failed. They told me to make it in 4 digit. Minimum amount of Rs.1100.

I am daily receiving call for the same baby name. Initially they told me they baby is going for surgery 4 days back. Even today I am getting call for same baby.

                                The number is [protected]
I received a call this morning from a lady named Shweta Pandey from Relief India Trust, Noida Sector III. The phone number was [protected]. Now as mentioned above, the lady wanted me to check their website immediately. She was definitely in a hurry. The patient's name was Anuj Kumar suffering from Blood Cancer.

I was given a good emo trip almost bordering on guilt that I was about to donate. Now, she wanted me to donate immediately since the kid's operation will take place at 1 pm. She even wanted to know what amount I would donate as she would then update the 'Database' . I have never come across such aggressiveness in these matters. Thats when I decided to do some background search and asked for time. I was still feeling very guilty.

One google search gave me tons of blogs and complaints in their name. Wow. In the meanwhile I also received a sms- "Have u donated or nt plz reply" from a different number now - [protected]

My question...Isn't it time, the authorities start looking into this scam? This is huge if true. And going on right under their nose.
Even i am receiveing callls franatcially from them. I even doanted once. But i am not sure if its an organisation to trust. Yesterday was height they smsed me back that ur afarud lady and god will see...

I dont think any NGO will dare to talk like this...[protected] is the no i had been getting calls
I completely agree...they are a FRAUD company. They don't have any registration number and they are in a hurry to show you the website and make donations. More surprising is that any 3 digit donations don't get accepted (didnt know such things existed when you want to donate).

The PD[censored]ploaded for Anuj Kumar who they claim is getting treated in AIIMS under Dr. Sameer Bakshi may/may not be true...I called AIIMS however due to Ram Navmi the offices were closed and they asked me to call on[protected] to confirm the patient details.

Even during today's call, the lady named Ishika ([protected]) told me that they got my number when I would have donated blood to Red Cross or any Rotary Club, whereas in reality she didn't know my name nor the source as well.

If we ever want to donate for such patients, one should personally visit the hospital and do the needful...many a times, because of the tax exemption we also get lured by such FRAUD companies.

NEVER NEVER donate to anyone if you ever receive such calls
I got a call from Monika and then another man the following day from Relief India Trust, Asking for donation for the same child 'Anuj Kumar' who is in 'urgent' need of treatment. They used sentences like, 'what is the use if the life cannot be saved and it is too late'. 'The money is needed urgently'. They have been calling and smsing repeatedly despite my requesting them not to call and I will donate through the website if I wish to. They could not tell me where they got my number from. I got a similar vague reply that someone must have given it while attending their blood donation camp in Delhi. I don't know anyone in Delhi so that statement is far from true.
I did not make any donation upon searching online and coming across this forum and others.
From March 25 in a comment above to 11th April, this child 'Anuj Kumar' who is in need o[censored]rgent help, supposedly hasn't received any. I have read the same name Anuj Kumar mentioned in many other older complaints too.
The number I got calls from was [protected]
Relief India Trust has given their bank details in their websites and all the bank accounts are savings bank account. I am not sure whether a NGO can open a savings bank account in their name or not, I think it must be a current account. I have asked them to send an email from their domain mentioning all the details along with child name and bed number of AIMS so that I can verify through one of my friend who is a doctor in AIMS. But they have not sent any email till now and repeatedly claiming that my mail is bouncing again and again. I am sure its a total fraud. Please take necessary action.
Even Today, I got similar call from a lady name Monica Raturi ([protected]) and she said they have an NGO name reliefindiatrust.co.org. Then she said a child is suffering from blood cancer and need urgent help. So they need 2 lakhs for the treatment of which they were able to collect 1.8 lakhs and have shortage of 20k. All she said is she a student and associated with the NGO. Feels to be not a proper NGO as NGO does not call any body and just ask for money. All NGO's generally run in a similar manner is to collect fund from proper source and support their cause.
This call looks to be a fraud and beware of such emotional traps. Donating is good but always it should be done into some proper hand where it will be used in a proper manner.
I too got call today at around 5 pm regarding a child called Anuj. They asked me to transfer some money as the child is getting operated at 8 PM.I told her to call me after 1 hour, after that she dropped me an emotional message. The emotional trap designed on me made me restless and hence thought to do some research on Internet and I am here. This might be case of fraud.
                                Dear All,

I cross checked with AIIMs on number[protected] which is for patients and it seems to be true. They have a patient with name Anuj Kumar treated by Dr. Bakshi. You can also cross check by telling the RCH No: 160506.

But, definitely the way they are asking money is ridiculous.Everyone is saying that operation will start in 2 hours with emotional dialogues.Best way is to go and directly help them.
I received a call from a lady Sandhya Negi - mobile number [protected]. To help a 2 year old Pratigya Kumari.
They were going on and were emotionally black mailing me to make a donation. The urgency to visit their website and it has to be done today itself. I asked how they got my number, they said from "our sources", Going on about please sir be a saviour to the child.
The credibility is at question. They are not registered with India Government NGO's as well. Fraud!
Police and court action must be taken against them.
i received a call yesterday evening around 5:30, when I was in a conversation. I took the call, heard the person (john) talk nonsense for a while, asking me to let him tell about this 2 yr old girl, daughter of a labour who has cancer, and needs chemo therapy. He asked me to logon to the a website so that he can explain me something. I told him i do not have a system to logon to. So he asked me to write down the detials where to make the payment. I asked him to sms me the details to cut him off.
He did send me a SMS with details, and i sent him a SMS telling htat I have made the payment, I block his num.

This morning, I got a call from some another number, I received as it would be some imp call, I hear John, he start ' madam, Humble request, to donate, could you please make the payment. I wanted to cut him off so I told Wrong number. he started shouting at me, telling me to be ashamed, and how dare I not help some poor gal. etc etc. Then I google'd this trust to check the reviews, and I see these complaints.

Here are the numbers from which I received the calls, [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected]. I sent them a msg again asking htem not to call me as they were threatening me to donate, and it seemed like them want the money and not help anyone. I immediately get a call from John, telling me why you cant donate, I can see that you have not made any payments, I am sitting here and checking all the transaction ID's i want you to make the payment now.

I sent them the first link i found about them via sms, and To be sure that i file a proper complaint, i called them back (now they knw that I knw about their foist) started disconnecting my call. but one guy took my call. I told him I want to make a donation, he asked me the amount, for which baby, which bank, etc etc. they are mostly stupid and adamant on online banking. I dodged by telling tat I will post them a cheque. as him to send me their address.
D-22 sec 3 Noida, gautam budh nagar, pincode 201301

I think its time we get this harassment / extortion stopped.

I received a call from someone stating he is a student and for patient ''Anchal Yadav". I almost donated them the amount, first time it stuck, second time it just struck me to do a background check on them... and I landed here. After reading all these comments I deduce that these people are somehow luring original needy patients into parting with their original patient data and reports on assurance of helping them. But that they are using it to scam money from people. That humanity can drop to such lows disgust me, I used to be a trusting person before this incident :(.
Phone number the calls came from: [protected], [protected]
I too receive a call from someone named Amit ([protected]) and saying all that mentioned in above comments. This time name of the patient is Pratigya Kumari whose Father is a labour. She is also treated by same Doctor Sameer Bakshi. He told me that the girl is suffering from blood cancer. He too was in hurry to show me the website. I ask for all the details and told him that i myself will go and check and call him if i wanted to help.
                                Hello Friends,

I received a call from the same Person named Amit for Pratigya from the same number [protected].. Even after saying them a number of times that I am travelling continuously they are following up with me...I Foolishly forwarded the mail to my Friends so that they could help her but then the same story...they wanted me to make a payment using my phone if I am travelling...
Now some questions that arise in my mind...

                                1) Why is no one taking an action against such frauds
                                2) why is that there is only one Doctor Sameer Bakshi who is treating all the patients
                                3) How do they get our number,
                                4) When they said the operation was going to be commenced on 29th July 2014 then why are they following up even after the operation date...
                                5) I had seen a name Anuj Kumar for whom the operation is going on for 3 months and still people are receiving calls on his name
extremely hostile people, once u say u r not able to finacially help. they will start abusing you. i think no genuine trust can do this. u r claiming to help people by terrorizing other people.
Today, I got a similar call from a lady name "Some" Prakash ([protected]) and she said they have an NGO name reliefindiatrust.co.org. Then she said a child is suffering from blood cancer and need urgent help. So they need 2 lakhs for the treatment of which they were able to collect 1.8 lakhs and have shortage of 20k. Child name Pratigya Kumari. She said is she is a volunteer and associated with the NGO. They needed 1400 for medical bills by today. Also chemo happens every tuesday and it is URGENT. The caller / volunteer was very decent sounding, but I was somewhat hesitant. I said I will check and donate by end of day. Some research online showed cases of similar incidents, but their website is well made AND shows scanned images of hospital reports of the child Pratigya. Though I was prepared to donate the money I was being cautious because the site might not be HTTPS secure; but the site was secure. Now I have made the payment, hope the money goes to a good cause. :) I will update the progress.
I got a call from them for blood cancer patient (Pratigya Kumari) treatment. They collected 1.6 lacs already it seems, they need just another 40k for 2 lacs operation. And they wanted me to do urgent transfer. i checked this website. Seems like this operation is happening from May 2014. Ridiculous!!! I disconnected their call.
I got a call today from[protected] saying that there is a small girl Pratigya Kumari 2.5 years old. She is suffering from blood cancer. We have collected Rs.1, 85, 000/- and need Rs.15, 000/- more and that before 5 pm today. Pls help us in saving the life of the child. I was very much willing to help the child by donating Rs.1, 000/-. He asked me how much I would be able to donate. I said Rs.1, 000/-. Then he requested to increase the amount to Rs.2, 260/- saying that it is the cost of an injection that is to be given to the child before chemo/ radiation. I said that i'll give Rs.1, 000/- and told him to send the bank details.

However, before making any payment i found these comments about Relief Trust India. He called me up after 10 mins to know the status of payment. I told him that I have read all wrong about the Trust. He insisted me to go through Indian express relief trust India article before making any decision. I asked him how he got my contact details and he gave me the same story that people have mentioned above.

I asked him the registration number of the Trust and he cut the call. Second time he called up and gave a three digit no. 544 as registration no. and on my further inquiry transferred the call to a lady. She too disconnected the call on further inquiry. They were not even giving me the 80G No.

After all this I am not willing to make any payment. I request pls make all investigations before making any payment to this trust.

Because of such fraudulent trusts needy people dont get help as people are reluctant to help others with the fear of being defrauded.
                                hi,
I too got repeated calls from relief India trust since last week. They want me to save a boy 'Gaurav".
Thank you guys for your feed back.. I was almost ready to donate.

                                Thank you.
Relief India looks like a huge organised scam .2 persons have been calling me continuously for last few days .A Manish Negi who claims to be a senior volunteer ([protected]) and Ritesh kumar ([protected]) . They must have taken my no. from Care india as i made a donation 2 weeks ago. In spite of sharing 2 mail IDs and insisting they mail me they have not done so but on every call they insist that they have mailed. I see that this has happened in many cases so it is clear they are running a very crooked operation exploiting sympathies .

Their objective is to get one to open the web site and donate online. There is no doubt that these are company employees most likely a single family fooling the Nation . This is definitely a massive fraud operation going on from my experience and all the reviews above . What is so sad is that Genuine cases will get hit by the lack of trust this breeds in all o[censored]s.

D-22 sec 3 Noida, gautam budh nagar, pincode 201301 is their address as supplied by deeps2856 above .

If anybody in Delhi is ready to take this up as a complaint with Delhi police we can all support . My no. is [protected] and mail ID is [protected]@gmail.com
I too got a call from them asking for help. They try to emotional blackmail you into donating for their trust. Moreover, they will try to persuade you to make the donation as soon as possible.
I got calls and SMSes from this number: [protected]
Same person is calling me as well. I was initially inclined to pay but once he switched over to emotional blackmail I knew something was wrong. Thankfully google showed me these sites which brings these scamsters to broadlight!!
Please view properly. Relief India Trust is registered at the website http://ngo.india.gov.in. The link to the registration is http://ngo.india.gov.in/view_ngo_details.php?ngo_id=RIT2010&ngo_black=0&...
I have got a similar call from ReliefIndia Trust from a similar number, followed by a number of SMSs. While on call, I started looking for such blogs discussing fraud calls. I was told that baby named "Pratigya Kumari." needs 20000 rupees in next few mins so that doctors can start the Chemo. Most surprising, I read same name, mentioned by someone on this page about 3 months back. He got similar call for same patient name admitted at AIIMS. No prize for guessing, it is a fraud call.

Guys please be careful while making any such donations.
Some person is calling me also for some baby Bhawna who needs open heart surgery. Have received three calls and 2 text msgs. Now finally i have blacklisted the number after reading these comments. Shame on such people
well they constantly use the name pratigya kumari. this time they told me, they had managad to collect 1, 60, 000 rs / 200000 rs.
may be i was much willing to contribute, but after reading the comments, i do not believe them.
Not sure if this is fraud or not actually there is nothing in these comments to indicate that this website is fraud ..they gave a UID which is searchable in ngo.gov.in :- DL/2014/0081349 .

In short this organization is suspicious but it is registered in ngo.gov.in with address as follows :- Relief India Trust, Plot No-Z148, Near Khera Gas Agency, KH.No 28/1, Ground Floor, Prem Nagar, Phase 4, Block-Z, Najafgarh, New Delhi-110043
I have got similar call today from [protected]. I inquired a bit in detail. They asked me to go to ngo.india.gov.in and verify the detail of the NGO.

The similar story was used - 4 year old patient suffering from Brain tumor and cancer required 6 injection worth 21000 each.

I asked for the contact information of the parents and doctors. He made some excuses.I asked for the hospital number. He was giving some mobile number so I asked for landline number of AIIMS, Delhi. He told me to check on Just Dial and call the hospital to verify the details.

He was persuading to make the donation as soon as possible.

Suspicious. Do proper background check before donating.
Now, the calls are coming in name of sana krishna murthy. Same story priyanshi admitted in a hospital AIIMS and you need to immediate help her for her operation.

Thanks for the reviews you people written here otherwise i am going to donate them. I don't from where they can get our numbers. Very clever.
I too got a call from a volunteer michel and he was so persistent literally emotional blackmail. I was just abt to do the transfer and pinged my sister who suggested I first google the number. I did and found so many posts calling them frauds
I have learnt a lesson to always check the credentials before donating.
Even I received a call from Relief India her name is Monica like all others she was pushy I told I can't do the donation at this point coz my boy friend was not in town as usual she kept messaging and calling finally he came back to town but he said we could n't do any charity now coz of our own commitments when I told the same to Monica she got angry and expressed anguish and disconnected the call by saying "bye" then I thought for moment she might be pushy but has some etiquette so I promptly messaged her saying that it was improper from her side to be rude n how can they do charity for others like this way. I never thought she will message me that she is sorry for the behavior. Then I called her and explained our situation this girl was so pushy till that point she said plz do not any payment if you can't afford I was shocked and very pleased by her gesture.
Sure this may not be a genuine NGO but today this girl despite of the pressure on her to get the donations shown compassion for others.
                                Magnaa
Complete Fraud & a Trap.. After taking the money, they are not picking the calls & neither have sent any 80G certificate or payment receipt... We should all BEWARE...

Their modus operandi is the same with all..
I have read all the above comment. Just want to share my my experience. I have donated to relief trust 2 times and got a tax rebate form also, through that I have claimed tax deduction also last year.
Now based on above comment either the tax rebate form is fake along with the organization or above all comments has been put without proper verification.
DO NOT DONATE OR ENCOURAGE THESE ELEMENTS

this trust is indeed a fraud. I got a call from this trust by a student call Richa and Seior volunteer call Puja Kaur from No. [protected]. This was in the the month of April. As per the call they needed a donation for a 8 yr old Boy Manoj. As per the call they are able to collect most of the month and are short of Rs. 22000. They gave me repeated calls saying with this left over money of Rs. 22000 if collected they can get the surgery...
