We are facing lots of problems due to commercial activity in ground floor of our next door neighbour. They are indulging in lots of noise activity. This noise pollution is a constant irritant for us and as a result we cannot relax and sleep during afternoon hours. This suffering for us is on a daily basis since many years except on Sundays. The staff working there is also paying no heed to our polite requests. We are senior citizens and in view of the aforesaid urgently need your support to stop this activity. Jun 24, 2021 Updated by Manobendra Roy It was just yesterday at around 03.45 PM, I politely requested one staff while he was trying to go away in his scooter "Can you all please stop talking loudly since then my resting gets rudely shaken" and the reply I got was we are capable of talking loudly as also in lower pitch depending upon what we are discussing!" The tone and tenor of the male staff with the scooter was absolutely arrogant when he replied bluntly that we are capable of talking loudly and in low volume too as per our choice! One was aghast and stunned at this arrogance. The entire ground floor of AC 189 is a office complex of a publishing company and both our bedrooms, kitchen and dining hall are alongside it. The constant talking, arguments from inside the said office rooms and in addition loudly talking on the mobile by coming outside in the passage adjacent to our house is a cause of constant headaches and irritation for us during forenoon and till late afternoon hours on a daily basis except on Sundays when the office is closed. It seems the disturbances are increasing on a daily basis with loud discussions happening with open windows adjacent to our bedroom.

I think there also needs to be checked whether they have taken due permission for commercial activity on ground floor of AC 189 both from Bhidhannagar Municipality and from the Electricity Supply department.
