I had booked a 3BHK flat in Runwal Pinnacle on 8th Nov 2020.
I was completely harrassed to make the booking payment on the same day when I had recieved the price sheet at 5.30pm on a Sunday. It took time to add beneficiary and make the payment as the bank server was low that day. In the meantime, the executive made several calls asking if we made the payment. I was completely harrassed.
Finally, I made the payment of 50, 000 the same night and shared the transaction details. In the following days I made the balance payment of 49, 950 of the booking amount and shared the complete details on 11th Nov 2020.
They sent me a demand letter for payment to be made in 15 days post booking stating the outstanding balance of 50, 756 on the booking amount which I had already paid.
I was chasing the team for 15 days and had shared the same detail multiple times to multiple people. They were unable to provide me with the receipt for the 50, 000 payment.
On 23rd Nov, they demanded me to make a payment for 10 lakhs (15 days payment).
I refused to pay until I receive a confirmation of the 1st payment I made. They couldn't locate this transaction. Finally after 16 days I got the receipt on 24th Nov 2020 but this experience of 15 days trying to locate this money made me rethink that my money is not secure with these people and decided to cancel the booking. I was completely worried in those 15 days and didn't want to continue the same torture for the next 5 years till the construction is complete. This is like buying tension not happiness.
On cancellation they refuse to pay back the booking amount stating that they can deduct 10% of the total booking amount and therefore they don't owe me anything.
I am an NRI and asked them to send a POA format to create a POA as I will not be able to travel back to India. They do not have a POA department for their NRI clients. They diverted me to some 3rd party agent and I would have to pay them extra 3-4k to make the POA.
They wouldn't file the TDS for me. They have another agent who would do that after charging a fee.
They have no systematic management. Nobody to supervises what the sales representative are doing and how are they doing.
In short, I was harrassed and I lost my hard earned money to a an extremely bad experience caused by this Runwal team. I will recommend everybody in my knowledge to stay away from buying Runwal flats. Completely disappointed by this incidence.
I had booked another property in Lodha in 2018, the experience there was excellent. I wouldn't have called the Lodha team that many times in the last 2 years than many times I had to get in touch with this Runwal team in 15 days. I don't expect this kind of customer service if i am investing 2CR+ in their project. This is completely outrageous.
